I just want to see the ideas, and I don't want a specific design but...

Yes, I mean XXL, right. You know that it has prohibitively high cost and it makes us to avoid it, as well as its additional flaw on the battlemechs. But for combat vehicle, all it cause is reducing some slots, aside its cost.

However, if you have to use it then what would you made, while still make it buyable? I don't think that it should be a chipshots - it MUST be the one that should be comparable with a full battlemech. I don't want to set the exact cost, but its cost should be similar or lower than a 100 tons assault mech with an XL engine. That should be the maximum C-Bill you would pay for a machine. It doesn't need to be a 100 tonner, though.

The others, such as IS/Clans/Mixed, extinct techs, and era, are up to your choice. Partially using mixed techs, such as only using Clans CASE but put the others with full IS techs, is also possible. Also I can accept any types of combat vehicle, include VTOL and blue naval ships. Even a superheavy is allright. Also if you make a blue naval ship, the cost can be expensive than a 100 tons battlemech with XL engine for obvious reason, although it shouldn't be too expensive than the other combat vehicle ships.

An additional request: What if you could afford an XXL engine as the similar price with an XL engine with the same power? With this you can even make an assault or superheavy tanks as well.

Due to the minimum engine weight on hovercraft, you can get truly ridiculous speeds (17/26 for a 15-tonner).

17/26 as the minimum value is quite terrifying....
