Maxcarrion gets credit for inspiring this idea in the Non-Canon Unit discussion around wet navy organization. He's 100% right that all that really matters under water are LRT-5s and speed. I used Fractional Accounting so I could shave the ammunition down to 12 shots instead of 24 to boost the armor to 10 points per side (2 max damage hits from LRT groups). If SSW did Fractional Accounting correctly, there would be another quarter ton (from controls) floating around that could be another 6 salvos. 15 tons means it only takes one crew and a Wasp/Stinger engine will propel the thing at 10/15, all for a "dry" cost under 300K C-Bills. I figure it hunts in packs...
