New MWO Quick Play map based on the older Quick Play Terra Therma map.

Totally flat terrain in the central area of the map

Did this replace Terra Therma Classic? I wasn’t seeing that one on rotation while grinding the Shadow Cat event.

It certainly seems more geometrically sound than the aforementioned map at least. I’m not getting stuck in awkward places like I used to.

Yes, you are right. The previous version (New MWO QP Map: Terra Therma Classic) has been replaced with the current version (New MWO QP Map: Terra Therma Crucible).

It certainly seems more geometrically sound than the aforementioned map at least. I’m not getting stuck in awkward places like I used to.

Yes, you can not get stuck, if the surface in the most played part of the map is totally flat and without cover now.

Have played a few matches, I think the map is too big for what it does now. The center part is a good arena but the landscape around it is just a useless area that makes you walk into the engagement zone for an extra 30 secs. Basically the same thing that I dislike about the reworked Polar Highlands map.

The central part is a good arena ... if you are running a sniper 'Mech.

The reworked Polar Highlands is much better than this reworked Terra Therma Crucible.
