Is there a reason the Patton (XL) got the Inner Sphere (General) availability tag?  The description in Rec Guide 27 makes it sound like it's only being sold to the Lyran Commonwealth and FedSuns.

Did you ever think of renaming them "Clan IS General" and "Clan HW General"?

That way, you see "Clan" vs. "IS" as the first word, rather than "IS" vs. "IS" as the first word
(sidenote: I can confirm that the current wording often tricks at least one user, too...)

Is there a reason why lots of later era mechs/vehicles don't list certain types of damage on their cards? I've noticed this particularly with missile based weapons. Stuff like the Turkina E lists its flak damage, but nothing about it's SRMs. The Linebacker D is another example that doesn't list SRM damage. The Plainsman (streak) is a variant example. Is it because a lot of later era stuff uses streak technology and that doesn't count or something? Or because there is just way too many units in these eras to put all the relevant damages types on them?

I'm curious because a lot of units in these eras have specialist armor types, and there doesn't really seem to be much of a point to them if the units them have the weapons that are defended by those armor types aren't listed.

Yes, Streak does not qualify for LRM/SRM.  The primary purpose of those specials is to allow the use of alternate munitions, and Streak requires streak ammo.

I was looking at the dropship lists for the Magistracy of Canopus on the MUL and Field Manual 3145 and I noticed some omissions.  They are: Lung Wang, Lung Wang P2, Kuan Ti, and Overlord A3

Medium damage (and PV) of Sqd4 and Sqd5 were increased to 2 points due to the recent PV revision. Sqd6 now deals less damage ... should be adjusted too.

Here are a few more units that look like they are trying to play by their own rules...

Tolva: rules level should be Advanced (has a 'Mech turret)
Road Runner 1R: rules level should be Experimental (ultra-light BM intro in the 2900s)
Lament 2R (Manes): rules should be Advanced (radical heat sinks after 3080s)
Brigand XPR-4: rules should be Standard (no advanced/experimental equipment)
Condor multi-purpose (reactive): rules should be advanced (has reactive armor)
Drone M-3 DropShip: rules should be Experimental (has SDS Drone equipment in 2700s)

Other errata:
Ceremonial Guard Infantry, Caesar's Royal Guard: weight should be 3 tons (not 12), and BV may need adjusting, too (12 tons is for full 100-person cohort, not 25-person game unit, according to TRO3085)
Puma PAT-001, PAT-002: units are identical to PAT-005, so you could likely port over the rules level, role, and BV from the PAT-005

I assume its rather low priority given people who use the MUL are more or less familiar with the setting and there is limited info, but when you click on the help page, and then go to the Battletech Eras section there is no information on the ilClan era. It ends with the dark ages.

Stocks contained in forgotten bunkers, non-functional museum or display pieces, carcasses in scrapyards, or any other situation in which the unit is not used by an active public or private military or individual are not counted as a functioning example.

So the key criterion for extinct is zero use. If all examples are in caches or junk piles, it’s considered extinct. The second someone pulls one out and puts it in a ToE, it’s unextincted. This flexibility is important so I don’t have to travel the globe with a cattle prod to keep writers in line

Gotcha. In that case, at least one HW Clan faction should have access to the Mobile HQ during Jihad. Per pages 41 and 43 of Icons of War, several were quickly retrieved from caches on Strana Mechty and used by the Ebon Keshik.

EDIT: On a side note, the Primitive Armored Personnel Carriers should have the BAR special ability.

The  BV calculation on the sheet is OK but the sheet itself is wrong as it lacks the TSM (and the lasers should be moved from the  right to the left arm).

* It seems that the recent acquisitions of the FWL from the Wolf Empire have netted them some new designs (Orion C2, Pack Hunter 5 and Goth for example) but it seems a few  were not included
in the Ilclan era FWL list. I refer to the Goliath C, Locust IIC 10  and the Black Wolf  BA all manufactured on Stewart. Is this an oversight? is this on purpose?
The Ryoken III from Kalidasa is also a possibility but I guess it's just to advanced/different.

Some errata on the recent additions:

Almost certain ones:
Rattlesnake JR7-31P (and perhaps JR7-31): likely should have at least FedSuns and Merc availability in ilClan era [Shrapnel #9, p. 54-55: "These models are now being manufactured once more and have found their way into the hands of local March Militia units and mercenaries."]
Chameleon TRC-4B/4C: issue is that RG25 implies that Clans use 4C, which is identical to 4B ["The Clans use the TRC-4C variant, identical to the TRC-4B aside from new communications suites and ejection seats."]
Solution is to either create a TRC-4C entry that has (IS and Home) Clan General access for all relevant eras (with note that it is identical to 4B, or
  Add (IS and Home) Clan General access to TRC-4B for all relevant eras.
Flea 21: two issues: 1) remove Late-Rep era availabilities (does not exist, Intro = 3139); 2) should only need FWL, Andurien, Regulan availabilities in Dark Age (since Intro date is concurrent with reunification of FWL)
Pegasus (Upgrade): one and potentially two issues: 1) should have Filtvelt access throughout (produced at Quikscell-Broken Wheel according to RG25), and should have Clan Wolf (Empire) access for Dark Age/ilClan eras (produced at Exeter Org-Keystone); 2) [a bit less clear] Should Lyrans or Capellans/(sundered) FWL have access during Late-Rep era? (not produced in LC, but (eventually) produced in CC (Hellespont) and FWL (Exeter))

Less clear errata:
Pouncer (all configs): should Late-Rep era availability be the same as Dark Age (as it is currently) or Early-Rep era (i.e., only Wolves and Escorpions)? RG25 implies that the Sea Foxes acquired the specs closer to 3150 than 3100 ["Clan Wolf-in-Exile, ...recently traded the plans for this redundant OmniMech to the Sea Foxes."]
Demolisher Tank (Cell): should Cell or Mk II variant (or both) be available to SLDF Clans (Wolves, JF, SJ) in ilClan era? Currently they only have access to Mk II, but the RG25 fluff implies it is the Cell variant that is produced at Aldis-Terra at the time of the fall of Terra   
Condor Hover Tank (Laser) -- should this variant still lose its IS-General availability after the Early-Rep era? Fluff for Condor (Ultra) in RG26 implies that Jalastar "continued to tinker with this design" until it introduced other variants, which are the (Laser Upgrade) variant [according to 3145 NTNU] and the (LAC) variant (so presumably through 3130 and perhaps 3140)
Galleon GAL-300 -- should any of the SLDF Clans have access in the ilClan era? The SLDF Jags have access to the Bolla (RotS) omni, which is also produced by M-P Motors at the same time

Hello! I gave the thread a cursory glance before posting, so I do apologize if I missed this somewhere:

MUL is my go-to before playing a game of Alpha Strike, even if playing a scenario with prescribed lists. Though useful for getting unit cards in one place and ready to play, it lacks a key element: a function to compose those individual mechs into formations (be they stars, lances or level 2s), with their attendant build rules, as well as providing a quick on-page reference to the formation's special abilities and special abilities assigned to individual machines.

Thanks for giving this a look, and for your patience if this is far beyond the scope of this thread!

Hi, thanks for your interest. Unfortunately, this particularly functionality well beyond our current bandwidth as volunteers. Since the forcebuilding functions apply to both AS and TW, a set of data would have to be added to each of the 9300+ records we currently manage in order to talk to any app that wanted to determine whether a unit could fit in a particular formation for either system. I'm not sure if the differences in requirements translation between ASCE and CO create a mismatch in compatabilities, but I can't say with confidence that they don't. The MUL records do not account for TW stats at all beyond BV and would need the pertinent pieces added before even writing the app to do the forcebuilding. That piece would have to be done by our developer, who is also a volunteer.

Your idea is a good one, it's just beyond what we're able to do with our time, resources, and requirements that would have to be met to be a public-facing product (even if free)

How does the MUL team consider the Thuggee Warrior Houses? I'm guessing "but Rakshasa/White Tiger has them" shouldn't mean squat for Capellan Availabilities?

The Spartan SPT-NF has a MUL availability of Star League Royal, but is missing from the availability of the Star League in Exile.  Base models (N2) are available to both.  Was the lack of access to the NF intended?  If anything,  I would expect  a variant with CASE to last longer, if taken on the Exodus.
