Clan MechWarriors have insanely high-blood pressure, so when you kill them the blood fires out of them like it's Kill Bill.

Keep in mind the size and speed those claws had when they hit, that's not only blood but parts of the pilot that are now liquid.

They're still not going to spray out of the cockpit at high velocity and splash all over the Kontio's head and chest.

Iirc it also said there was coolant from damaged heat sinks. No way a human body has that much blood in it.

Y'all're underestimating just how committed Clanners are to being as melodramatic as possible. If that means exploding into a volume of blood greater than that contained in the human body, then so be it.

I stand corrected.

Depending on body mass/size, a human generally has somewhere between 4.5-7.x quarts/litres of blood in it.  Massive scale trauma gets really messy, really fast.  However, given the size of a 'mech, you would have issues with coverage.  Though, never underestimate the ability of blood/body tissue to go all sorts of different places.

I would concur that most of the stuff seen is probably coolant or other 'mech fluids.

Did you decapitate anyone or just core them from the rear?

Just opened up some rear torsos and did really well at harassment.

It's likely a mix of several fluids and less launched at high velocity, but more splattered on the mech due to the angle of the cuts.

I... I do not want to be the Astech working on clearing force-voided guts off of a Kontio's faceplate.

I am sure I have seen "hose out the cockpit" in an official published product before. Meat is cheap, Mechs aren't.

What is more likely - a dropship has good enough water handling that you can afford to do it with a hose, or some poor astech has to use rags?

It's BattleTech, why do efficient when there is color? Of course the poor astech is given a bottle of simple green and a handful of rags. And of course they will miss something....
