Thanks for putting this together all in one place  :thumbsup:

I'm to run an AToW adventure for a local con this Feb. and might use some of these (with attribution of course). 

By the way, have you ever seen any one try their hand a realistic warship art?  For example how do your launch and recover fighters from a flying skyscraper safely while under thrust?  Not sure how the flight decks should be arranged in such a situation.  The internals of even a small warship would make a great AToW sandbox play area.

WarShip deckplans are on my list to do but WAY down it.  I want to do a couple more DropShips and a Scout JumpShip before trying that.  That said, Matt Plog does commissions for VERY reasonable rates, and would probably take a swing at it if you asked him.

I don't know about fan designs, but there was a role-playing scenario book that had an experimental ship in the Exodus fleet mis-jump to a time circa the Clan Invasion. Forgot the name, since I left it with a bunch of other such books at a friend's house.  It had full deck-plans for that ship.

You are correct!  It was a Manassas Heavy Cruiser that had the experimental Jump drive to let them go 40 light years at a time.  In their last KF Jump, it took them to their destination system, but they needed 274 years to arrive.

The book Living Legends had the warship layout in the very back, in pages 58-64.

If you want a thread that discussed the Manassas, its jump drive, and a few potential implications, here it is

As far as ASF/Small Craft being launched it's a bad idea in atmo if Velocity is over 2.  This does give quite a bit of leeway to just idle the engines for a turn to launch some ASF/Small Craft.  For all other launch conditions it is done at the end of movement from a rules perspective and thanks to the laws of conservation of momentum it's largely not going to be a big deal for launching if the craft is under thrust.

All recovery though has the little rules caveat of the ASF/Small Craft and the recovering unit must match velocity and heading.  So it's not impossible to do while both units expend thrust but it takes some thought to properly execute.
