So when do you think Smith will mention ' Far Country '?

It's a joke...

Sheesh, some people.

I liked Far Country.

Wow! This story is amazeballs. The number of times that I sat down at night, before sleep, to read and be surprised  by the morning light... Well, suffice to say , much like Smith I seek the break of sleep.

Thank you for this. I truly appreciate that you shared your story with me , and I look forward to getting transfixed  with the next chapter!

Sincerely ,

Well that was a hell of a update and a loved one at that. Very curious to see how things move forward as you do your time skips. I emagine you would do this untill the clan invasion?

Anyhoo, thank you again for a great chapter and look forward to the next one!

In case anyone is panicking and searching for a new chapter, so far as I am aware, Chris hasn't updated since the chapter posted here in August. Which is a shame, but it was a good chapter.

And I'm fairly sure he's alive and well so maybe there will be one soon.

eh give it time. This story has years of potential so if it takes years to unfold I am fine with that

I recently spent like 3 weeks, basically 1 week in each of Oct, Nov and Dec in the hospipital for CO^2 poisoning and "a touch of pneumonia (though I remain Covid19 negative). Because of struggles waiting for state temp disability to kick in, free fan fiction and things like youtube and bitchute are what kept me sane.

Keep up the good work Chris.

Glad to hear that!  We'll be here whenever the next chapter posts!

Had my hopes up for an update.

I still hold out hope.  Chris mentioned he had a lot written and pared out the last chapter to post it.

At this point I’d take half scribbled notes on napkins.

To find out what happens next

I... Kinda sent a thank you letter because my job was going back to full time and I was spending more break time in my office than the staff room, reading and rereading the story.  He posted an update maybe a week later, and it was great, but I feel a bit guilty.

I'm sure he's still writing.  Be patient.

Yes I'm still writing. Right now a delightful bit of trolling and counter trolling between John Smith and Natasha Kerensky in fact. I'm hoping (and not sticking to this one bit mind you) for an end of month update.

Don't kill yourself over the new post, but please know that as soon as it drops I will be immediately reading it like five year old tries to slurp up an entire place of spaghetti at once.  I'm on pins and needles to see what nonsense John gets himself into next.
