I think it might have lasted into Friday?  not sure.

For those that didn't grab a copy, it's THICK, (200 pages in total: no Record Sheets, all readouts) but it appears that there's no new readouts (I skimmed the two I've written and they're unchanged, so I -think- the rest are probably straight pulls) and only the intro (another teaser from 3250? Whaaaaat?!? :D :D) is new.

Basically, yeah, though there are two dozen new pilots and three rewritten main entries.

Care to share which three mechs have the rewritten entries?

Thanks!  I haven't had a chance to read the whole thing yet; which ones are new (if you know off hand?  And this could be a different thread if need be)

Art is presumably re-used?

Off-hand, only TROSW has had so far new art and new entries for some 'Mechs.

Enforcer III 7D

An experimental TRO mech made it into a full TRO?  Interesting.

That Arana bit is interesting. No Reptar? (Or their BattleMech versions Tolva and Cazador, respectively.)

This is freaking AMAZING art!

Fun story.

The Demo team only knew about 'cool stuff' happening.  Even the lead only knew of a few things like some of the new table and floor free-standing banners.

So Tuesday we get minis and Shadowrun stuff from the booth area.  We've got time, and ofc Alex wants to know whats in this very odd, thin box.  So he opens it and starts pulling out stuff.  Its all folded up and we've no idea what this is until its on the table and we can unfold it.

Then after we're done marveling at it we have to figure out how to set it up.

It wasn't until I was about to leave for GC to get my Vax band that I heard about the Urbie and the Big Banner.

Ohh man those banners. Hadn't realized there was another banner. Very nice panorama. Interesting that at least two mechs of it are featured on covers (Atlas on TW, and perhaps the Starslayer will be on the Mercenaries box). Hope the other parts of the scene get used as well, they all look good.

The banner was double-sided. So the two different pictures are of both sides, it looks like you could put both sides together for a single uninterrupted scene as part of one side contains part of the scene on the other side. It's rather like the Northwind Highlanders vs. Jade Falcons scene, part of which is the cover for Shrapnel #4 in that there is a huge sprawling action scene with just pieces of it being used on various covers.

Dunno why but for some reason the Doom Courser reminds me more of pigs than horses.

It's a shame that reliable sources say that they were printed specifically for the CamoSpecs diorama and won't see a release  :(

I think it goes right along with questions of "Will IWM release X new 'Mech?". The sarcastic response is the one that wants to jump out really badly, but the more political response is that while there are no plans at this time, IWM's history suggests that we are highly likely to see it in the future.

I mean, IWM's track record for refusing to make at least one mini for a mech is pretty close to 0%...
