Did anyone get the address email today or yesterday?

Still nothing for me.

Maybe they sent address confirmations to a few people, because they had concerns.

And midweek update from Aetherworks is up and BattleTech still not in queue. Guess more like September for Australia as well.

Wondering if CGL any closer at all on Battle of Tukayyid DL codes for non-Star Captains?

Still no email for me. If they're out by alphabetical order, I should be in the last batch.  :( :(

I don’t think so, cause I got one with no obvious reason, and certainly none that that company should be able to discern.

How did you all fare on Wave 1? My Wave one stuff shipped Oct 27 of that year, which I think was several (felt like that much or more at least) weeks after the first stuff started going out.

If it is based on size ... how crazy is Wave 2 compared to 1? ... a quick count for me (W2) is 19 regular star/lance boxes, 9 salvage, (shirts, dice, bonuses).  I feel like that is a lot.  BUT I am starting to think I'm one of the light weights.

Certainly possible.

I was one of the last in Germany. Got three boxes. In wave 2 probably more.

Not sure what the concern would be. Had no issues with my order, haven't moved, and I know while I backed the KS in the early Minutes of it going live, I know others in the same situation who have yet to receive an email.

Definitely weird.

I sent an email to QML, as I hadn't heard from either them or Crowdox since November of 2020 and I received the following:

Quote
Hi Craig,

Thank you for reaching out to us on this. When looking into that for you I see that this order is in with our team as part of the second batch of fulfillment orders from Wave two. With that said I would expect you to see an address verification email from our fulfillment team in the near future and then a notification email with tracking once your pledge has shipped. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I hope this is well received.

Best,

Charles

I don't think that clears up much, but I'm glad they seem to be on top of things.....

Well, it means they are preparing the shipments in waves and actually only sent out the verification emails for people in the wave they are handling next.
Actually a smart decision, but since we didn't know that, a lot of people are confused why they haven't gotten an email.

I've not heard of it with verification emails, but I know a lot of Kickstarter projects I have backed do this with the pledge manager. Send out a few to test the system and make sure it is working before sending the rest out (usually in waves). Maybe it is something like that? And just to throw it out there, I haven't received an address confirmation email yet either and neither has a friend of mine who backed the KS.

And understandable...I did not mean it was concerning for folks who have not recieved an email (as staed, I have two different accounts I've back under, one got an email, and the other...well, nothing there yet).

More a unsure of the concern on the Quartermaster end of it, and I hate speculating as I'm often wrong :D

Since we are staring hard at the tea leaves for meaning . . .

I would expect address verification emails to go out right before the shipping is planned, as in shipping is imminent.  Simply b/c if they allow a large time between verifying your mailing address and shipping it opens the door for more people to have changes they would not address- IE, the number of correct addresses would drop if they shipped a month after the email's close (13Aug @ 0800 . . . no timezone noted?) vs 1 week after that closing time.

So is Wave 2 getting broken down that much that not everyone is getting a email in short order, with those who got emails in Wave 2 Flight A?  Next batch of verifications would be Flight B, etc.

I am curious . . . has everyone who got a email so far ordered Plushies?

First - No Plushie for me.

To throw a new wrinkle into the email question. If Quartermaster is handling Wave 2 as they handled Wave 1, Canadian Orders were pulled and boxed After all US/Latin America orders were done (ya, sucked that Canadians are the last to recieve product, but it is what it is). At this time, I am assuming QM is doing the same and is pulling and packing the Canadian orders, and then putting all of them into a Big-Ol Container to then ship across the Canada-US border, to a center in Canada when the Shipping Container is cracked open and all the boxes then ferried out to all parts of Canada.

Again, that was how we understood the Canada Portion was handled.

If that is still the case for Wave 2, then I am unsure why I was one of the first to get a verification email, unless it was because I critiqued on other forums that it was dissappointing Canada got everything last, and so to appease me I got the email first ;)

Again, just another example that as Colt Stated, we are looking at tea Leaves searching for meaning ;)

Interesting--yes, I was one of the first to get an email--about the same time I saw someone post they got theirs.  And yes, I ordered two plushies for my girls.

I was wondering if they might put plushie orders to the front of the line b/c they were taking up more space than other products in the warehouse.

So . . . Plushies, and they are pulling Canadian orders to go into a container to get it to the canucks?

Also interesting.  Plot thickens.  I expect there is some degree to randomness.  The other thing I wonder is overall shipment size.  I know my wave 2 is absurdly large, with books/plushies and 13 lance/stars and 11 salvage boxes.

So if you've gotten your confirmation email, does anyone have a really small shipment coming?  No books, no plushies, 1-3 lance/stars and that's it?

Again, NO plushie for me ;) - so that theory shot down :(, and that Canadian Side, yes, to save us Canadians from additional Brockerage Charges, the product is pulled, boxed, and then shipped enmasse to Canada, to then be shipped from a Fulfilment centre in Canada

No, I said Plushies AND getting the canuck stuff out of the way in it's own container.  Because they do not want BT stuff sitting around taking up their limited warehouse space.

My Recieved Email is Large (Galaxy Commander backing - Consisting of a whack of stuff, plus 11 Salavage, 18 Lance/Star Packs, etc. SPLIT SHIPPING)

My Non-Recieved Email is just as Large if not larger as it is an ALL-IN-ONE shipping of Star Colonel size consisting of everything including 10 Salvage Boxes, 23 Lance/Star Packs, extra T-Shirts, patches, and pins and stuff my son wanted ontop of everything...so, hard to say it's an order size issue ;)

Ah...again, I don't think so, unless they realized from Wave 1 that leaving Canada for AFTER US order meant a lot of stuff sitting there in their warehouse. Would be nice, but...I don;t know.

But again, I have two different backings, on two seperate emails/accounts, yet only recieved one email so far.

*EDIT*

here is the world Breack down for Backers from the KS (can assume the After KS Closed similar numbers/spread):

United States - 7,261 backers
Canada - 761 backers
Germany - 638 backers
United Kingdom - 618 backers
Australia - 504 backers
Spain - 248 backers
Singapore - 76 backers
Ireland - 73 backers
Finland - 70 backers
Russia - 67 backers

Good point on the timing as far as how long the verification remain valid.

I ordered a plushie and have not got a confirmation yet. I split shipping so I already got some of my stuff, but I also ordered more when the PM reopened.

I finalized my backing in the last hour before the KS closed, so I’m one of the last backers. My wave 2 order consists of all the Wave 2 boxes left for my KS (1 of each wave 2 item) and then an extra Bloodnamed, plus some maps and 4 other boxes.

Maybe that’s on the small size but I don’t think so. Idk
