Whatever their theme is going to be, I hope Inner Sphere will get more lance packs with good mix of mechs from light and medium weight classes. Most of the IS lance packs so far are excessively thick (Direct Fire Lance, Fire Lance), exclusively featherweight (Striker Lance) or both light and heavy with nothing in the middle (Command Lance). It's hard to build a good selection of 40 to 50 ton mechs without ending up with more heavies and assaults than you'll ever need. The current Clan Star packs seem to have much nicer spread of mechs across the weight classes and it's easier to build a sensible selection of mechs.

Give me a Ghost Bear box that includes an Executioner variant, an alt sculpt Mad Dog, a Kingfisher, and two other mechs and I'll sign my paycheck over.

Executioner, MadDog, KingFisher, Viper, FireMoth
The complete set of GB favorites of course

The Dragoon set got me thinking about what else could be coming in the future. It seems unlikely that the Dragoons would be the only group out there to get their own special box, so what would go in, say, a Kell Hounds box? Or a Federated Suns pack? A Ghost Bear pack? There's some fun to be pondered in all that. (My kingdom for a couple of Solaris sets, personally.)

I another thread they were talking about vehicle options at some point.

And I couldn't help but think of a few.

I'd probably swap the Maxim out for a Saracen since the FWL doesn't produce the Maxim but they own more Saracens than any other faction to include the DC that produces them.

More of a 3050 Lyran pack:

Zeus-9S, Axman-2N, Griffin-1DS, Dart (or possibly a Commando-5S)

Experimental 3025 era Lyran ‘Mech Lance pack:

Zeus-6Y, Flashman-7K, Griffin-1S, Commando-3A

The thought occurs to me that the Zeus (one or both) BattleMechs mentioned above could be replaced with Steiner variants of the BattleMaster, either the 1S (for 3025 era play) or 3S (for Clan Invasion era play). Unfortunately, I don’t think that one model would work for both versions (under WYSIWYG play), as the missile weapons are quite different on both and in different locations.

Personally, I’d go 3S on the BM, and keep the 6Y Zeus in the groupings above if something like this was done.

Agreed,  I was just making those since I have no idea what will or will not ever get made into a plastic.
One of the issues I'm seeing right now with the existing packs is they seem to be purely set up by AS Roles v/s factions.
I was just grouping them how I might have liked to see the "factions" go & then keep the "Role" boxes using more general chassis.

My entire Star Colonel order was pushed back to Wave-2 to avoid splitting up the shipping.
I have not heard anything since the 2x over the summer/fall that they verified my address.

Not worried yet, it was only 10 days ago that they emailed saying, 2 more weeks to finish.

Now, if they send out a "WE ARE DONE" email & I still haven't heard, THEN I'll start to get worried, LOL.

As far as I can tell, they haven't done anything in the past 10 days.  On Facebook, they say "We're pushing to get everything done in a week or so, there may be some rolling into next week but we'll see how smoothly everything goes this week."  That was around 9am today.

At what point should we start to worry??? Because that is going up and up by the day.

I've been patiently waiting for my wave 2, as I had no issues with wave 1.  But as the days/weeks go by, my frustration level is going up little by little.  At this point, since it appears I'm in the 20% left, I won't be getting any of the extra dice I ordered, which is unfortunate.  Also, I wish there was some rhyme or reason to QML's shipping order.  At least I'd know why I and many others got bumped to the very bottom.

/philosopher's hat on.
Someone is always on the bottom.  That is the nature of a list.
Perhaps it was random.
Perhaps they do have some criteria that we don't know about.
/philosophers hat off.

Just so long as nothing is missing or broken & I get what I paid for & was promised in bonus items, I'm good.
Heck, my group hasn't even had a live game since Jan/Feb-2020? due to Covid.
So its not like I got anywhere to go play the game, lol.

"Our EU hub will be starting BattleTech Clan Invasion (Wave 2) [PHASE 3] shortly after the order amendments requested by Catalyst have been finalised. This is taking a little longer than the UK due to the large number of EU based orders."
