Beautiful and closer to being in our hands.

But again wondering if CGL any closer on Battle of Tukayyid DL codes for non-Star Captains?

Jenner looks a little too hefty; or is that just me?
Hard to say without a good comparison, but the shortened the legs and added lower torso (compared to the original) will affect your perception. It's definitely more "gymnast" than "runway model" now.

The old Jenner's legs were toothpicks, this one is good but looks chunky by comparison.

Kansas City players, or people who are just passing through the area, come join us at the Geekery just off Shawnee Mission Parkway for BattleTech!  Current days are Tuesdays in the afternoon and evening.  I can't make every single week, but odds are pretty good that somebody will be there.

I'd like to see it side by side of my metal mini (soooooooooon)

Someone with any sort of skill (ie not me) should paint up the Nova Cat and Kit Fox like Cylons (and any others that fit the bill).

If the Jenner turns out as well as the Urbanmech, I think it will make a perfect IIC proxy/fit/replacement.

Jenner looks a little too hefty; or is that just me? Still ,it's not like the previous minis were perfectly in scale.
As my favorite light Mech, I’m happy to see it ‘chunked’ out a bit.  Always seemed a bit skinny for what it was supposed to be.

Agreed. I never liked just how scrawny the Jenner was in the past. I know it's supposed to look light and fast, but everything prior to the KS version was just taking that way too far for me.

Slow on the uptake here, but as I compile my (currently about 75% imaginary -- "patience, Luke") list of KS Clan Mechs, I realized I do not think there are any 2nd line Heavy original Clan Mechs.  They are all Omnimechs.  Am I missing one (or more)?

(well, obviously there is isorla and C variants, but that is another discussion)

The only IIC Clan Heavies are the Rifleman IIC, Guillotine IIC, Orion IIC, and Thunderbolt IIC.  Most of the classic IIC designs are Mediums or Assaults.

Fortunately the guillotine in the comstar pack is just a weapons update, so it won’t look too out of place as a IIC

I feel there are quite a few mechs that will pass muster that way. Even better if you want to justify an EC (early Clan) unit, too!

Matador, Bowman, mentioned Grizzly, Glass Spider

To note, the Thunderbolt IIC is really a 'recent' design.

Then Golden Century gave us some new awesomes- Vision Quest, Minsk, & Masauwu along with hybrids.

With the rec guide updates maybe that’s true. Before it’s just the sad sack “C” variants of a few clan heavies. Can’t pass a griffin off as a IIC. Same for the assaults

was my first thought when I read that quote. ;)

I mean, in the long history of BT someone has to have made a complete list of signature cocktails per mech, right?

As a wannabe bartender, a lot of those recipes worry me.  They're all kinds of unbalanced.  That's fine with shots - no one cares about those tasting any good.  But many of the cocktails look highly randomized, down to whether they're shaken or stirred and what glassware is prescribed.

Some are actual drinks: the Grasshopper, Scorpion, Stinger, and Artillery (Shell).

The PPCs make the least sense, but those are apparently canonical.

Warm ginger ale + vodka just sounds like trolling.

A revamp would be an interesting project...

Warm ginger ale and vodka. Start a pan of motor oil on fire and smoke the absolute lowest quality cigarillos you can find for the closest experience you’ll ever have to living in the Oberon Confederation

Torn jeans are actually back in the fashion menu for 2021. As my 3 year old says "her mommy should help them fix those clothes, they are tagged".
