It's been a long wait, but Mech-wise TRO 3025 is now complete.. I give you the Whitworth (sketch by Harri Kallio is public on Anthony's Patreon)

UPDATE: Anthony confirmed it's part of the Security Lance

Nah, those are medium lasers, because the model also represents 3050s era Whitworths, the non-upgraded ones.

The beauty of it is that it can be a ML or a LPPC depending on your needs.

Yeah, but it is gun port matching and part of the speculation on it was what the two energy mounts in the arms and two 10 port missile launchers would be since this is a Hegemony based/used/derived? design.

The arm mounts match the head mount, so I'm leaning more toward Medium Lasers.

With the Whit in the world, I think we've finished the mechs from TRO 3025, and are now looking at the rest of TRO 3050 (not that we need to go in order, I think my brain just is moving with the original TRO configurations).

I just had an idea for a super-deformed HMT mech called the Hatamoto-Chibi.

Sounds like a light or medium version of the Hatamoto series. Or maybe a ProtoMech...

Not really, I have internal bias against them because think they only exist to replace the missing unseen.  I have no evidence for this assertion, it just fits my narrative, and it causes me internal rage.

Technical Readout: 2750 was released in 1989, which is seven years before the issue with the Unseen arose in 1996 according to Sarna.

the 2750 downgrades were put into 3025r to beef up the roster a bit

I think they were introduced before the unseen became unseen, then retconned to be replacements for them. I would love to see them done. Since we already have some 3050-60 era designs, and WoB becomes a legit faction, it would be awesome to see some WoB level IIs with the remaining 2750 designs and early WoB stuff like the Buccaneer, Toyama, Grand Crusader and Vanquisher. Some swag would be in order as well.

That is probably why my brain views them the way it does.

Updated Kintaro without the bizarro/kinky pelvis would be welcome.  Champion is just so bizarre I can't envision modernizing that one.  I'm sure it will be done, just...you know.  Weirdness.

As for the 3050 holdovers.  The Wolf Trap, Mauler, and Hatamoto-Chi are obvious Combine mechs.  It would surprise me if we don't get the Imp, Hornet, and Falcon at some point as we are in the Era of Mercs now.

Side note--making a useful ilClan era Hornet could be challenge!

What's the composition of the Security Lance?

So Jagermech, Scorpion, Whitworth, and 1 other.

And didn't we think the last might be Vulcan higher up in the thread?

Anyone recall what the requirements are for a "Security" Lance in AS?

Edit, found the post.

Quote
   Inner Sphere Security Lance (Gencon)
44   Scorpion (Size 2, Skirmisher, 12")
45   JagerMech (Size 3, Sniper, 8")
46    Whitworth (Size 2, Missile Boat, 8"j)
47             Vulcan (Size 2, Scout, 12"j)

Also requires a Scout, so either Vulcan or Charger

   Inner Sphere Assault Lance (GenCon)
48   Goliath (Size 4, Sniper, 8")
49   Hoplite (Size 2, Sniper, 8")
50      Shogun (Size 4, Missile Boat, 6"j)
51

Inner Sphere Heavy Recon Lance (GenCon)
52   Assassin (Size 2, Scout, 14"j)
53   Ostroc (Size 3, Skirmisher, 10")
54       Charger (Size 4, Scout, 10")
55

Unallocated Mechs
Merlin (Size 3, Brawler, 8"j) - Patreon hint

So, I'm sticking w/ Vulcan for Security & Charger for Heavy Recon which leaves Merlin for Assault.
If that fits, then I wonder what the 4th Assault Lance will be?  Hmmm

One scout or striker, one sniper or missile boat. Max of one assault mech.
It’s from CM Mercs, so it could change with widespread release.

With all the WD Mechs in this KS, I would not be surprised if the last 'Mech yet to be revealed will be the FLC-4P Falcon.

Anthony has confirmed that the Falcon, Imp and Hornet did not make the cut for the Kickstarter according to this post.
