We know there will be a Inner Sphere BA pack . . . I wonder if they might go 2/2 or it will all be IS Standard.

I can't think of any other suit worthy of being that common/general use.
Maybe GDL BA but even that isn't close to IS STD.

GDL Stds would be a good candidate . . . heck, I think that would be a good stretch goal- raise $x00k and 2 of the 4 squads in the box become Gray Death Standard BA, making it a 'real' Merc BA box.

Which works for me as well- and I am also good making it a stretch goal for different plastic BA, we can see what people want at that point.

I'd like it too: Sloths are the early IS BA that have the least role-overlap with the standard suit.

I’m in the camp of either just give me 4X IS Standard. Those stands will work just fine as proxies for pretty much any kind of BA.

If we get more than just IS Standard, then I’d like to see one each of iconic/distinct house BA

The former - I agree 100% - hopefully in the KS Core Set.

The latter - not so sure - I could see only as top few KS Stretch Goals as that could be expensive on plastic moulding etc.

I doubt they will go into the VERY faction specific battle armors, whihc is fine, you can usually get cheep clix minis for them so there is already a source for plastic. I suspect if we see more Battle Armor (and to be clear I think that is a very low possibility) it will be stuff like the Sloth, of GDL.

Anyone know if they are gonna finish the digital stretch goals from the last KS before this KS launches?  Seems like CGL is behind on the delivery for their Centurion KS and with 2 other (now) KS that only recently completed, it just seems like things are getting more behind or more uncertain. At least for the outstanding Digital rewards related to the prior BT KS.

Given the mercenary theme to this campaign, it seems to me that if the Battle Armor pack has anything beyond the standard Isba, they're almost guaranteed to be Gray Death suits of some flavor or another.

That's what I was thinking.  GDL is the obvious choice given the theme.

I honestly doubt we'll get anything other than Inner Sphere Standard, though. Maybe if we'd gotten, I dunno, a Gnome or something with CI, I might have given GD Standard decent odds, but hey.

Also, getting a sculpt and casts that look good at such a small scale is rough, it takes way more work and is highly prone to setbacks. I suspect that's why we haven't actually seen any of the prototype minis yet; CGL is probably still working out the bugs.

This is also why I am not worrying about it too much, I have a LOT of MWDA BA and while they are not scale consistent (Gnomes are smaller than some infantry!) most are large enough to easily pick out detail so you can visually tell apart 2 different BA types, like IWM BA.  Even painted the same you can visually tell the difference between my Avalon Hussars Grenadier and IS Std BA on the table w/o having to pick them up.  Even if the KS Elementals are more properly scaled with the plastics, I am not sure the same could be said at that size.

IDK, a Gnome is pretty factionally specific v/s Elementals that are super generic.  So only Elementals makes sense.

The IS-Standard is the IS version of Elementals so that also makes sense, but, this is a Mercenaries based KS theme, so I'd hope there is at least a small chance at seeing a GDL suit.
Especially since, IIRC, the GDL Standard Suit "image" from TRO3058 never got a mass production mini in a box of many or even a MWDA version that I recall anyway.
I think the only one I might have is a single purchased model from IWM.

IDK, a Gnome is pretty factionally specific v/s Elementals that are super generic.  So only Elementals makes sense.

the basic gnome is clan general since late invasion era. Salamanders are pretty much the same. Heck, Corona get on the general list, although I doubt they're common.

I wouldn't mind a bulkier suit like the grenadier, and a quad among a five BA pack, but I doubt that's on the table.

Certainly are MW:DA minis for the Gray Death Standard, and Scout - I have lots. The MW:DA GD Standard is a good interpretation of the TRO 3058 (Upg) art.

The problem with "we have <battle armor> at home" with the old clicktech minis is that a new player cannot reasonably be asked to find them.  They may exist, they are not, as they are, an acceptable source to be considered 'available'.

Agreed. Although they can be found easily enough. Unfortunately, while the only CGL battle armour is massively out of scale with IWM (or MW:DA offerings), I can only field them (as I have done) only with themselves.

And for the record, I'm fond of the CGL Elementals - they paint up really nicely & easily. Just ... no options.

Are there?  Thanks.  Must have been from a later series, I don't recall any GDL stuff.
Most of my BA were Clan, Davion, Marik, or Kurita produced suits from what I recall.
