Will be 2am local time here ...

Yep 1am. Here's hoping given where it's being launched LOT more video for those of us who'll stupidly be sleeping before work on Friday.

They'll be visible on Twitch for at least a few days after the stream, but most of the stuff they did at GenCon went up on Six Sides of Gaming's YouTube channel as well

Actually, they would be in CDT, as Daylight Savings Time started a week ago.  It's an important note for those of us in Hawaii and Arizona who don't follow such a practice.

Might be too late, but I just want to reiterate a thought I posted a while back: Reinforcements: Clan Invasion was a real dark horse hidden gem to come out of the CI Kickstarter. I sincerely hope we get a Reinforcements: Mercenaries after this Kickstarter is fulfilled.

I'm planning on backing in the first 24 hours, but is there any benefit to backing in the first few minutes?  Like I don't think it is worth refreshing the page over and over for. It isn't like it is going to sell out, and as far as I know the only limited thing (aside from possibly a few VERY high end tiers) is the fighter, which goes to everyone who backed in the first 48 hours, so plenty of time.  I personally work night shift and have a ton of time free every night to surf the web, so I'll probably pledge sometime around midnight, I don't think this is worth try to mess around with your schedule for. Don;t get me wrong, I'm not trying to downplay the KS at all, I'm super hyped for it, but I don't think there is a meaningful difference between pledging at minute 4 and hour 4.

Pledging in the first few minutes is mostly just to try and get in on some of the limited higher-tiers pledge levels.

Here it only matters if you are going after a limited pledge level, which in this case is likely to be an equivalent to the Full Kerensky pledge from the Clan Invasion campaign, if there is one. For everyone else its pretty much just bragging rights for pledging before it has fully funded. Unless catalyst has been hiding some sort of discounted early-bird pledge with some extras or a discount, but generally a company would have heavily advertised that in the lead up to the kickstarter.

Good points, and some helpful in formation in these posts to be sure. While there probably is no need to jump in very early for most of us, I probably will have at least a look at the page rather early when it opens to figure out what level I want to commit to.

You can always commit with a low number at the beginning and then decide to grab a higher pledge level later on.
That way you will get emails whenever an update comes in and can see any potential backer only updates.

Catalyst isn't known for early bird specials.

Which is honestly a good thing, since they tend to feel less like bonuses for people who get in right away and more like penalties for people who work or have kids they need to take care of or otherwise can't just sit in front of the computer in the morning waiting for the thing to officially start.

So when do we have to start a new thread? I don’t think we can get to 50 before Thursday, so how big of a geekout will it take after it goes live before no. 4 is needed?

I'll have to wait until after work and then after kids dance this Thursday ... so around 8:30 ish EST ... I wonder what the total will be by then?

I'd just like to get in early, so I'll do it day 1 rather than wait till weekend.  Plus Wife will be out late Thursday, ... more "me" time.

Edit: Hopefully someone will start a post for best way to get a "one of everything" pledge (at one level, or two mid levels, etc, etc)
