when you make your pledge it will give you the option to put add-ons in now and give your a running tally ... that same process shows the prices for all of the add-ons. don't recall the objectives pack cost.
The problem is, all the other packs (and by extension the add-on) go for $40. I'd rather not pay $10 extra per-Objectives pack.

Double pledges are implemented in Pledge Manager . . . just tack on the extra money in the KS and then you can select RGT twice.

Maybe I'm really slow (long day) but I cannot see where to do this. Have you actually tried? I can't see any option to select a tier twice, only the add-ons.

So I've been meaning to ask:

The white haired-and-skinned woman sitting in the middle: is she supposed to be albino or some sort of genetically-modified human?  Because she really sticks out as not resembling anyone from any previous Battletech artwork that I've ever seen, she looks more like a Shadowrun character.

$4 Million: a new Battlefield Support Forcepack will be unlocked for Add-Ons AND all backers will receive the "Tales of the Bounty Hunter" digital shortstory anthology.

$5 Million: Veteran level backers and above get a free Salvage Box.  Battalion level backers and above get a free salvage box and a free ForcePack.  ALL backers will receive free audiobook files of a novella (to be decided soon).

5 million?

I would be ok with them stopping with the Strech Goals if they going back over all the rule books and reedit and reformat them like the BattleMech Manual

Well, if they include the Hetzer, I guess I'll have to review my choices..

Is there a way to back more than once?  Right now it looks like 2x Battalion is going to be a better deal than a regiment.

They keep doing that... it was true in the Clan Invasion campaign and it was true in the Leviathans campaign.

Anyway, generally not until the pledge manager period.

So if my goal is a starter and one of each pack, which level should I go for?

Battalion is the best value if you just want minis, Regiment is better value if you want the extra free bits - Map Pack: Cities, Legends II and the Encounters dice game.

There's no way to add a second pledge during the Kickstarter period, it'll be an option when Backerkit opens.  For now you can either pledge the extra 275 bu altering your pledge and adding it to the total, or waiting for Backerkit to open and adding it then.

Yeah. At present (circa 3.5 million in), if you go double Battalion, you’d get one extra ForcePack and 2 extra Salvage Boxes over the mini choices in the Regiment tier.

But Regiment gets several items (not minis) that Battalion and lower do not.

Am I correct in thinking the list of models is only in one of the updates and there's not pictures of each pack?  ???

My guess based on what models I have heard of being done but not currently announced is: Hetzer, Bulldog, Patton, &  Sturmfeur.

You can add additional funds in Kickstarter and later in the Pledge Manager contact them to give you more than one Pledge Level.
Regiment does also come with a few additional physical items you will have to buy extra otherwise. 2x Battalion is only "better" if you are solely looking at minis.

That would be cool. I'd love to see the redesigned Hetzer and Bulldog in plastic. Well, let's see what CGL & co will come up with once the shock has worn off  ;D

RE the Hetzer, the design for it is done, so I'd be surprised if that wasn't in the next pack

Based on what we've seen BTS from Anthony, all of the RecGuide and such units that have real line art have 3D models, but just to get a good sense of the unit spatially and for use in digital art (including as the basis for said line art). They're not quite ready for the tabletop yet, but any of them can be touched up much faster than trying to make a new model from scratch.

Absolutely. That's why I would think it highly unlikely to see any units in the new Force Pack that have not been featured in the RecGuides or have new art released somewhere else.

Aye, makes sense :) Because as far as we know, all the models are basically done, and its the case of getting them made/shipped etc that's now the challenge. No need to incur delays by adding more models. Besides, that's what the future kick starters are for :D

Okay, brain blast, I just had a thought for a stretch goal that might not be as much of a hassle as canon characters, but could exist in the same vein: Letters from the Inner Sphere.

Everyone gets to write a short, in-character letter—be it a report to a superior, a check-in to the folks back home from the front lines, a formal business complaint to QuickScell, or whatever. Those letters get published under the same "it's all just perspective and half-truths, plus the occasional prankster" policy as the sourcebooks. Authors can then choose letters to canonize, use as inspiration, or even cite excerpts as is convenient at the time, giving CGL a more "pick and choose" approach with no obligation to actually use every letter. And for the rest of us? Well, backers at such and such tier and above may receive a randomly-chosen letter as part of their fulfillment, plus a PDF and/or EPUB/MOBI compilation of all letters to revel in the fluff, the implied stories, and the occasional spot of utter chaos.

Over 3.5 million in the first day, that is great. Wonder if it will make its 5 million goal, but I will take another force pack.

If you really want to arrange it during the KS period, you can create a second Kickstarter account with a different email address and pledge a second time. (At least I have known people to do this in the past.)

The two pledges will ship separately and have separate shipping costs. (CGL will have no way to know the two are related)

Battalion is the best value if you just want minis, Regiment is better value if you want the extra free bits - Map Pack: Cities, Legends II and the Encounters dice game.

This makes my calculus very tricky. I want the extras, but I am not sure how many force packs I want. I might want fewer the 13 (14?) which come with the regiment pledge. Have they hinted at early access to a pledge calculator? It's not necessary, but it's a handy way to play with options.
