You're not wrong, but that's less than helpful...  :-\

A consequence of not having examples except in memory. Any further solutions would require my time and effort

My clipboard doesn't have any brand logos on it, I'm afraid.  But I bought it in a regular old box store, so you ought to be able to find something in Walmart, Target, or Staples.  Or online.

two minutes poking around yielded this

https://www.amazon.com/Saunders-Polypropylene-Storage-Clipboard-Capacit/dp/B07JW5MWW7

all you need is something that is going to store 9"x11" paper.

We choose something like this, where we can store them unfolded, so removes creases, and thus keeps them flat, and removes wear and tear from folding constantly.
Just put a couple pieces of cardboard ( from a larger box ) in there to keep sides stiff.

got our from a craft store, Michaels - https://www.michaels.com/protege-portfolio-by-artists-loft/10065178.html?r=g&cm_mmc=PLASearch-_-google-_-MICH_Shopping_US_N_Art+Supplies_N_Smart_BOPIS_N-_-&Kenshoo_ida=&kpid=go_cmp-9972406790_adg-106296476328_ad-433378147599_pla-1341674404478_dev-c_ext-_prd-10065178&gclid=Cj0KCQiA95aRBhCsARIsAC2xvfy5QJ6hp9b9pMfsD2P2c8z4cRpRHp86YT6jNwTDui8VJZnODbeMgvUaAmx7EALw_wcB
