Tamar Rising Easter Egg

Page 15 has embedded text that I only found because I "read" these books with a TTS program.  Probably some spoilers, I don't know.  It's giving Google Translate fits.

Hmm, sounds like a command in the layout software that fills your text blocks with gibberish latin so you get an idea how the text will look. Ray sent me that page after he set it up to how he wanted it. Seems like that text block is floating around in there somewhere invisbly! Ah, found it, it's still on a master page setup.

I think you can safely ignore it, I doubt Ray wrote that up as a secret. :D

I'll be curious to see if anyone can find hidden messages in the last page of the fiction section.
"We have made of New Avalon a towering funeral pyre and wiped the Davion scourge from the universe.  Tikonov, Chesterton and Andurien are ours once more, and the cheers of the Capellan people nearly drown out the gnashing of our foes' teeth as they throw down their weapons in despair.  Now I am made First Lord of the Star League, and all shall bow down to me and pay homa...oooooo! Shiny thing!" - Maximillian Liao, "My Triumph", audio dictation, 3030.  Unpublished.

To the best of my highschool latin ability, this is latin sounding gibberish. Some proper words, some mixed up, but I can't trace proper sentence structures. Even rusty, I should be able to find at least a bit translatable...

Oh, and, noli figere quod non fractum is an attempt at If it isn't broken, don't fix it, but... a bit off. Obvious retrotranslation.

Hi, first of all, grat book!
One issue I've noticed is that if you reflow the text in a pdf viewer, the columns in any give page are shown reverted, i.e. the page would start with the second column and then continue with the firs one. This seems to be related to the way the PDF is formatted or tagged. I have noticed this also with other products like the Ilclan Sourcebook. This is quite annoying if you are using a smaller screen. Is there a way to solve this?

That's fairly common to the point I don't think it's anything CGL is doing. Sice you're on mobile give "@Voice Aloud Reader" a try. It's designed for text to speech and that's what I use it for but it also allows for one column scrolling. The reason I recommend that versus other TTS programs is the ability to select what text and what order it reads. No more reading page numbers or headers, and the ability to have columns and text boxes read in order. I have a 45 minute commute to the hospital and this program has allowed me to devour BT books.
