It was added in the second or third printing

Third I'm thinking.

I have the 1st and Second Printing, and neither has an INDEX

Yes, added in the third (Marauder cover, no 35th anniversary symbol).

BTW, I just added a cover gallery to the errata page to help people distinguish between printings.

So I just purchased the new Total Warfare (new cover, I was stoked when it arrived last week, ordered before the announcement) and the two TacOps books.

Question:  will the TacOps books be getting new art too?  Because if so, I'm going to need to find a new home for my new, unopened books.  I likey the new art!

Is it me, or is Pulse missing from page 120 of the new BMM?

Huh, it is.  Been that way since the first printing; weird.

I'll flag it for the fifth printing.

Not until/unless they sell out and need to be reprinted, at least. Once that happens, not sure if there are plans to change covers.

Never heard of a FanPro TM. I always thought they only produced the first edition of Total Warfare, and CGL continued the line from there?

Both the 1st and 2nd TM printing were 2007 releases, so the 1st wasn't out in the wild very long.

Anyways, should probably move errata and older printing info elsewhere, as I know Cubby likes to keep the thread clean.

Tamar Pact? Saint Ives Compact? Pact of the Covenant? *shakes violently* TELL US YOUR SECRETS SPACE WIZARD!

Alexandrian Covenant.  All the main ilClan action centers there, I'm pretty sure.
"We have made of New Avalon a towering funeral pyre and wiped the Davion scourge from the universe.  Tikonov, Chesterton and Andurien are ours once more, and the cheers of the Capellan people nearly drown out the gnashing of our foes' teeth as they throw down their weapons in despair.  Now I am made First Lord of the Star League, and all shall bow down to me and pay homa...oooooo! Shiny thing!" - Maximillian Liao, "My Triumph", audio dictation, 3030.  Unpublished.

Based on what we’ve seen, I predict Tamar rising is going to be a Manila envelope full of hand-written notes

It contains such hush-hush secrets as "include an e-mail signup on the website to build a list for [e-mail service] Drip" and "do any and all press offered."

I have the 3rd printing and it does have an indez.
Wow.  I HAVE the 3rd "Printing" in PDF, but never looked at it.   :-[

I bought the 1st printing when it was released, probably at Gen Con, but didn't feel the "Need" to buy it with the MAD cover.   :-\  I'm a Collector, which is it's own sort of "Crazy", but even then I felt fine with just the original copy.   ;D  I WILL be buying the New, 4th printing.

Now also have a tiny little bug bothering me to get the MAD cover version.   xp  Because I OBVIOUSLY haven't spent enough money on BattleTech the last couple of years.   :P
To me, Repros are 100% Wrong, and there's NO  room for me to give ground on this subject. I'm not just an Immovable Object on this, I'm THE Immovable Object. 3D Prints are just 3D Repros.

Wow.  I HAVE the 3rd "Printing" in PDF, but never looked at it.   :-[

unless you look in the credits, the only overtly distinguishing factor between 2nd and 3rd printing is the 35th anniversary mark in the lower right on the cover. so the confusion is naural

yeah. i lie to myself and say it's ok because it's my only substantive hobby. it makes it easier when i pull the trigger on extortion prices for stuff like the original blueprints set and A Time of War special edition

I was wondering that as well:  TechManual is out of stock at the CGL store.   If they do another printing (and I want a hardcopy to read) it seems a good opportunity for new cover art, yes?

No idea as to upcoming cover art changes beyond what was just announced one way or the other.  Sorry.

The 6 proliferation cycle stories included in the Kickstarter bonus material were originally published on BattleCorps between 2004 and 2011.  This story appears to be brand new.
