I uploaded videos of some of the more interesting pug games I've had recently. I'm trying to hopefully showcase something more worthwhile than simply "look bro how many kills I got", though there is certainly a little bit of that in there as well. Available in HD and rocking a soundtrack!

This is mostly Jenner action, showing what can be done with a decent light 'Mech and a bad attitude.

More 'Mechs, Music and Mayhem!

I did this latest video in honor of the recently introduced Cataphract (hence the nods to the Capellan Confederation). Like these things tend to do, the 'Mech changed the face of the game for a bit as everyone flocked to use autocannons. This was good good news - because they had been somewhat neglected and thus the face of warfare in MWO mostly lacked this aspect of Battletech - and bad news, as some of them may have been somewhat overpowered (since hotfixed).

Anyway, all that autocannon fire makes for some pretty sweet footage! I think MWO skirmishes are visually starting to look like what proper Battletech fights should look like. Have a look!

At least, the MWO developers are encouraging the sharing of gameplay videos etc. You'd think music business folks would also see the benefit in doing that (I get introduced to a lot of good music by first hearing them in these kinds of videos), but I guess they've been burned, bitten and embittered by the past.

I love it when we have some artists saying they don't want people even hearing a sample without paying royalties while others outright tell their fans to steal their albums so the greedy record labels don't get any money.

What's the point? Not much. At the time, the matchmaker wasn't up for anything else though. Working on collecting some proper 8-man footage now that that's at least possible. A lot of stomping happening there as well too though, but there's also good matches and some losses in there as well. As for your group; who are you guys?

Anyway, just be to clear about the 2x 4-man sync drop vids : that was before Phase 2 as you can see from the dates. It seems the devs have recently changed their opinion on it being an exploit and I do think it's a fair call now that we are in Phase 2. Consequently, we've explicitly disallowed it in our unit now as well. For what it's worth, it was never to farm people for c-bills, that's not really our style, but just to group up.
