I would remove the AMS. While it might increase survival, it is just not something I really feel Blood Spirit would use, simply because of the replacement cost of the ammo. This is why Blood Spirit generally shies away from Ferro-Fibrous Armor but still uses Endosteel Structure: Armor get replaced a lot more than Internal Structure.

As for the autocannons: PAC/4 and PAC/8 would be better fits, I think, than the older Improved ACs. We know Blood Spirit had factories making those, and they were mounting them on 'Mechs and Vehicles, as well as Protomechs. And, I am pretty sure you could fit 2 PAC/4s in the place of one Improved AC/5.

This is more of a Golden Century refit than Jihad Era refit. Also the AMS is there because the Blood Spirits were the ones who invented the Clan AMS.

I would lean into the Blood Spirit's supply chain and replace the ACs with LRM 15s. Or is that too forward thinking, regarding the Blood Kite?

Not exactly Rifleman armament. Archer would have been used instead.

You say that, but it's a thing that happens to the Rifleman IIC and the Jagermech. But I get you.
