On page 208 of the fourth printing of
Campaign Operations, there are rules for making skill checks longer and easier (Extra Time) or shorter, harder,
and less reliable (Rush Jobs).
Page 215 explicitly allows Rush Jobs to be used for salvage. This raises two questions:
- Can Extra Time be used instead?
- What are the penalties for Rush Jobs when salvaging? It isn't clear how the skipped testing applies. Is the only penalty a +1 difficulty modifier the next time a salvaged component is used?
