There's an awful lot of 'Mechs to do first.
One of the virtues of the fan funding pipeline is democracy of the wallet. If someone comes with cash in hand, it has a chance to go in tbe queue.

I, for one, can't wait to see what extremely rare, era-locked designs we might get from a renewed Fan Funding, while dozens of broadly usable 'Mechs/Vees/BA/Aero/others wither on the vine.
"Well, I do, Marcus, and rule number one of the MAC has always been that the man with the plan leads. If we get shot up, I'm the first one to get my ticket punched. There are no flags in the MAC."
"And there never will be," Barton said, nodding his head in agreement.

"You guys are facing a freaking Shadow Division! These guys have strict policies against playing fair!"

"I don’t care. Kill them. I planned the defense so I know it will work. If they claim otherwise, they’re cowards. Any step back is a betrayal of me, and saying they don’t have enough men is just an excuse for incompetence and disloyalty. Tell the Krypteia to do it if you’re too soft but get it done." -Emperor Stefan Ukris Amaris I

Is it possible IWM can handle a larger release schedule to accommodate fan funding?

Do that and I will start checking on cost on my end to determine the total need.

It's gonna take me a long, LONG time to set aside any real amount of cash, so don't feel rushed!

I hear you, bro. It's a balance I trust IWM to manage - Fan Funding has been on hold for a while, during which time we have been getting more 'Mechs, mainly.

And I just want to throw some kudos at IWM - planning some Black Friday purchases (hey, gotta start saving). And out of a list of 44 'Mechs on Early or Late Republic lists for the Capellans, Lyrans, and Davions that a) I don't already have, and b) look interesting (game statistics less important), IWM currently stocks 42 of the 44 as individual minis, with 1 (the Cadaver) available in a 4-pack, and only 1 (the Ursa) not available. That is pretty impressive! Thanks, IWM!

(While still wanting more vees & BA, thanks!  :smilie_happy_clapping: )

Fan Funding does help, especially since many of the costs that go into models has gone up in recent years.

It's a day ending in 'y' so I'm gonna remind everyone about the VP-1 Viper.

I need to check on that one if it has 3D assets to help the process out.

Yes, Iron Cheetah is in the process of being made available to IWM. Hoping to have in a release soon.

Rime Otter, I need to check on that one again.

Well, I'm sad that no one will commission me for an Iron Cheetah anymore...  But I'm so happy to finally get a canon model.  Can't wait to put it together.

The A is my least favorite Regent variant, but the P-Hawk and Savage Wolf are nice.

No, kilo is abbreviate kg.  It's a Phoenix Hawk that's very close to absolute zero (1/3 of a degree Kelvin).

Kansas City players, or people who are just passing through the area, come join us at the Geekery just off Shawnee Mission Parkway for BattleTech!  Current days are Tuesdays in the afternoon and evening.  I can't make every single week, but odds are pretty good that somebody will be there.

Could be the distance to a PHK? "Phoenix Hawk ahead, 1/3 K"

Or that they'll have so many at GC, that stacked end to end they stretch 1/3 of a Kilometer?
