I'd like to get revised artwork for the Parash and Kuma that actually matches their stats (according to ColBotch the art for them in TRO 3085 was originally for some unused protomechs).  I agree about the Brahma, though.

It looks more like a mech than the giant marshmallow that is the Kuma.

Hm, a Kuma would also fit nicely in the upcoming Aces Dominions box...

I just want my Doom Courser. I know it is currently for the futureTM release, I just get a bit annoyed that it (and the Parash) are listed as standard Hells Horses mechs in the RATs and there is no way to buy an officlal version (and nothing that looks like them either). I'm sure this is the case for other factions too, I just know these as a HHs fan (and them being solely available to a small faction makes it less likely). Forget all the vehicles that fall in to the same bucket (I'm looking at you Eurus).

There might a gentleman's agreement but still, sad times.

I've got 4-12 of every Quad Mini made by RP/IWM (plus 8 of the Sunder from MF Germany), and I'll NEVER own so much as a SINGLE Balius.

So, um . . .

I just checked IWM's website and their release schedule for Spring 2025 now has prices associated with the Mad Dog C, Timberwolf A/D, and Iron Cheetah where they were just listed as TBD before, so that may indicate that they will be releasing to LGS's and sellers soon.

I see that the Iron Cheetah is also identified as the L variant rather than the Prime.

Cool.  I wonder if the torso is cast in one piece or three?

I'm going to guess three separate pieces, like the Mastodon.  It'll help with reducing the number of unique molds needed.  The right and center torsos can (probably) be reused for the Prime.

I'll stop by IWM on Monday and post an update.

Iron Cheetah L looks cool, but it's weird that it was solicited as the Prime and swapped without any comment. Was definitely planning on buying a few Primes to start.

I remember Speck stating that they had multiple configurations in the works.

Did they say whether it was the Iron Cheetah Prime or L that was getting released?  Or both?

Interesting.  I wonder why the Prime is being delayed?

Everything appears delayed, so don't see any indication that Cheetah Prime is specifically being delayed

The Iron Cheetah Prime was the original listed miniature for release. It was subsequently replaced by the L Variant about a week ago. That's what Money was referring to as delayed.

My understanding is that at some point the Prime should come out...but let's wait for official word from Speck.

Also to note...the Timber Wolf A / D was also listed as the upcoming release. That has been trimmed down to just the A Variant. A part sprue will be available to convert to the D Variant at a later date.

Hey, is this the first time that an omnimech has gotten a variant mini released before the Prime? Not counting resculpts.

Nope...there's been a few such as the Jade Phoenix, Sojourner, etc.

I've got to run to IWM tomorrow again since I just got inspiration for a kitbash.

I'll ask for clarification on the Iron Cheetah/Timber Wolf variants if needed.

For what it's worth both of those and the Hierofalcon had their primes release first.

I was confused at first when I read your reply...went back and realized I misread Money's post...sorry for any confusion.

If I recall correctly...no, an Omni Variant has not been released before a Primary variant was first. Only thing people could technically point out are the original 90's Omni releases. They were billed as Prime, but really weren't.

Huh that is odd they delayed the Iron Cheetah Prime for the L. The main reason I was going to buy 2 was for the extra kit bashing options. Guess I'll wait for the Prime to be released.
