Made shadhawk and eilidhdawn editors on World Anvil as asked.
If anyone want something done with their unit that I haven't done let me know.
Marked Kem/Karenth down a skill point for AIT.
Marked Akira down a skill point for 6 missions.
Links are to see how that looks.

Still need to add a few units to it yet.

After Mission Party Line
Iris: Hello GSF, Valkyries will be on another channel for a few moments doing our after mission party line. Any are welcome to join
-- On Another Channel --
Iris: Well so that was a pretty lazy scouting mission. We did succeed in poking the bear and avoiding the claws mostly.
Orchid: Yeap, Meifeng losing her arm to the Gauss sucked. I heard those go off and my life flashed before my eyes. I was busy looking for mines.
Iris: Yeah, I feel that we were overly cautious about something we didn't really need to deal with.
Akira: Based on how long it took to take out one turret, there was no reason to try and deal with them. It was way too thick.
Iris: Yeap there it is. The idea was to scout and poke the bear, not clear a path. If we wanted to clear a path, we would have sent Kem in and picked things to delete the whole time.
Tryna: Oh, she would have loved that. Also, the music. Those kids had pretty good taste, most of the time.
Amber: I would have loved that. I think not even looking on the other side of the river was a mistake. We could have kept the forward momentum going with the speedy units zipping around the other side of the river. Would have spotted those large LRM racks sooner, but they'd get maybe 1 or 2 salvos off, and we could have been very sneaky about checking those caves out. We had plenty of time.
Iris: Ok, I think that's the key right there. We prioritized engaging things around the same time as opposed to getting as much done as quickly as possible.
Bryant: Also, it was a scouting mission and none of the infantry really got a chance to do much. And we deployed heavy on infantry since for scouting it just makes sense.
Amber: I had a truck load of bored people. I think they started playing Jenga in the back as a joke.
Iris: So, success in our mission, but felt underutilized.
Orchid: No one tell Kem there was so many targets. She's a bit antsy to help out since she's been gone.
Iris: Jasmine's not here, Kem gets the reports and data for all missions out here. Jasmine will get them when we are done.
Amber: Oh, Tryna. You can give her the report then. You're her mother, you'll get a more honest reaction to share with us.
Bryant: And do me a favor and put a Karnov Thumper on the list.
Amber: Bryant... Why do we need a bunnycopter?

268th Security Support Company is now here

Jasmine will greet the leaders of the unit
"I'm glad to have a chance to talk with you. My plans for us are that out of the gate, the Valkyries will handle what they can. Once our small numbers start to get the better of us, we will ask you in to fill the gaps, but always in pairs. I know we've trained together with our own units more than each other, so would want to keep some of that momentum going. Having said all that, for this first mission coming up, if you want to see for yourself how the GSF is in the field, we will work someone in. You can pick who and I will see what I can do."

Other things coming later.

“Commander Or’lient, a pleasure.” Chu-i Taleb will give a bow of respect. “My troops and I will do our best to help you with your missions. May our differences provide strength.”

Made shadhawk and eilidhdawn editors on World Anvil as asked.

Thank You. Now if things get a bit funny here we have a back up  8)

"And that's about it, sir."  Said Amy as she explained the results of the mission to Euron.  "Meifeng is a bit salty after she got her arm blown off, and nobody was happy about the Eagles' Tears' XO leadership style.  Bao was ready to ditch his orders for my own."

"Bao needs to keep his opinions to himself."  Said Euron.  "So, Ellis has Clanners working for him, huh?"

"Yep.  A Fire Moth and an Arctic Cheetah.  I think the Cheetah is the same one Max Pain almost Rochamboed that one time."

"I'll look into it.  Dismissed."  Amy leaves.

Euron radios Camp Haken.  "Alannah, I want you to look into any connections you can find between Ellis Saganami and the Konstantinovich Ichizoku.  We know the Konstantinovichs have Clan connections, I want to know if they're sharing them with Ellis."

"Speaking of which," Alannah mentioned, "our team on Constantine Island may have found something you need to know about."

"Oh?"  Euron raises an eyebrow.  "Go on."

After Alannah explains what Freyja and Julia just found on Constantine Island, Euron responded:

"Tell Lorren to lead a team to the island immediately.  His command, his choice as to who goes.  Also. have Isolde call Audra.  Tell her that she and Ana are no longer safe at the Academy.  Ana may be at risk of abduction or even assassination if her family can't get her back."

"What should we tell her to do, then?"  Asked Alannah.

"Which GSF camp is closest to Yousai?"

"Maru, sir."  Came the reply.  "The Saganami Shiro is also close by."

Euron shook his head.  "Probably not the best idea to send them to Meiyo.  That could be a diplomatic nightmare for her and Jack.  Camp Maru?  Probably a safer proposition. (OOG: I don't remember which GSF forces are there, so fill me in) Also, we might want to talk to Lady Sugai about safeguarding them.  She is an ally, of our unit in particular, so there's that option.  She's also the academy's Trustee Board Chair."

"So, what are your orders then?"  Asked Alannah.

OOG: OK, I need to know who's based at Camp Maru.  Also, how much of a kerfuffle it would cause if we were to shelter Ana with either the Saganamis, the Sugais or the GSF?  Also, Lorren and his Wolverine will be leading the next mission for the Ironborn with the other 3 units TBD.

According to docs the main unit there is Eagles Tears. There might be others, but that's the only one I have listed (Winter's Dream has moved since this doc was last updated there but they went from Haken to Senshi)

Re: Alternatives

An Interesting tidbit of news crossed my desk about three hours ago. according to two of our agents in the ISF in Benjamin Prefecture, our most hated foe is no longer a problem.

It seems that the surprise assault by some draconis March units - no doubt sent by that sneaky Sandoval bastard (takes after his father) - caught our forces unprepared for such a deep strike.  That, however, is not the tidbit I promised, as I'm sure you already know about those little 'embarrassments' like those on Matsuda and Galedon.

Here's the interesting bit. Apparently, during the Davions' systematic destruction of the Sixth Ghost, a victim of collateral damage happened to be the Gorman Medical Facility, where - get this - Director Ninyu Kerai was being treated. Apparently, he was moved there from Dieron, where a Blakist headhunter unit almost killed the bastard. We didn't even know he had gotten out of the system!

A stroke of luck, this is. I suspect our protege's effectively countering thr Davion foolishness (a wise choice, that one),and these events will go a long way toward purging the stain that Victor placed on us by soiling our former Keeper. Not only does our 'beloved' Coordinator now look foolish for stripping our prefecture capitals of their defenses,we seem to have had our one major stumbling block removed from our path.

So. The way lies open for us to finally succeed where that damnable Kiguri failed. I suggest we seize the moment.

(20 November 3068 - System Error 0404 - Backup Transmitted 30 December 2068)

Galatea [MERCNET] - Employment opportunities in the Draconis combine have declined sharply since Warlord Kiyomori Minamoto issued a declaration adding Greenburg's Godzillas and Camacho's Caballeros to the list of rogue commands. Regular DCMS units have been ordered to show both commands no mercy on the battlefield - an order chilling reminiscent of the infamous 'Death to Mercenaries' order issued by Coordinator Takahashi Kurita during the Fourth Successsion War. {"Witness how the Dragon reverts to type."}

In the face of claims of desertion, the Godzillas - currently bound for Arc-Royal - maintain that the DCMS tried to enslave them in an infamous 'company store' trap, and refused to sign a new contract. The Caballeros, last reported en route for the Free Worlds League, have yet to offer their side of events.

In light of these occurrences, the MRBC has downgraded the Draconis Combine's Employer Rating to D, pending a review of their claims.

{"Work not for these capricious House Lords! The Word of Blake offers you more lucrative contracts."}

(28 December 3068)

Syrma [FREE SKYE PRESS] - The FWLM was no match for the might of the LAAF forces today when they overwhelmed the Eastern front and retook Zebebelgenudi from enemy hands. Leutenant-General Andrew Baines of the Fourteenth Lyran Guards commented on the triumph, "It was easier than we thought it could be - even with the Wobbie support those backstabbers had, they were no match for our people. Hundreds laid down their lives for their desire to take back what was theirs. The Lyran people and her culture will not be destroyed."

Little is known yet of the casualties as those held hostage in the city by the Free Worlds League since October celebrate in the streets at the return of their beloved Alliance forces. Tired, war ravaged natives of Syrma stood in a small gathering outside a burning administration building where the occupying FWLM had set up an operations network. Earlier reports suggested a suicide bomber had disrupted the communications network, setting off a chain of events that aided in our retaking the city.

"There's not much left," said Lilith Shanks, a former employee of the city's courthouse as she stood among the crowd of survivors. "But we have our city thanks to the Lyran Alliance armed forces."

(30 November 3068)

Zebebelgenudi [DBC] - Off in the distance you can see shooting stars in reverse as the First Atrean Dragoons retreat off planet. This is Vincent Wharton for DBC on Zebebelgenudi. The Skye Guard has managed to fend off an attack outside the gates of Redstorm Computers, but as the charred husks of war machines surrounding me show, it was not an easy victory. A last ditch assault by General Maria Esteban's command lance stopped the Dragoons' charge cold. It was her death however, that turned the tide. As two Marik lances concentrated fire on the General, the rest of the force crumbled. Less than two Dragoons companies made it off planet, equaling the functioning units of the Skye Guards.

The true loser however is Zebebelgenudi. While it remains a bastion of freedom in the Isle of Skye, this world has suffered greatly for its survival. The Cor D'Azure reservoir is hopelessly contaminated with all the toxic materials leaking from the Skye Mechs that tried to spring a trap from it. Ninety percent of the capital city is without power at this time as well. Free Worlds troops attempted to launch a night attack by destroying three major power plants, while the Guards retaliated by igniting the LP refinery. With funds hard to come by, the people of this region will have to soldier on, with no power, no clean water, no fuel and next to no defense. As for the Lyran Guards, even with a fleet of techs this unit is litle more than a reinforced battalion with little leadership left. While spirits are high now, tomorrow may bring a bitter reality here on Zebebelgenudi.

Victor,

I decided to bypass standard communication protocols and make direct contact with you. I suspect most of ComStar's ROM, including Precentor ROM herself, are Blakist operatives or at least sympathetic to their cause.

{"Many hold our cause dear and will stand up to the heretics who have twisted the teachings of Blake's wisdom."}

I have come across credible information I extracted from a high level Blakist Light of Mankind operative. Precentor ["@#sR...la13...2439...a-34'] caved after an exhausting interrogation session.

{"You blasphemous bastard, you tortured her. We found what was left of her body. You shall suffer a fate tenfold of what you did to our sister!"}

Her information, though not confirmed yet, alleges there are ["te...Ne,i239d-7///"] divisions of fresh troops in the ["C.ai50..^^^*&{{"] staging from the planets ["////...*^*^////.>.<"] Currently there are [Kt10100101"] fleets of Warships operating in the [C,ai50"]. They are planning a three prong thrust against ["D...11a00...v////772lon, BuNder, ...EiNeeRan:] and [Yak11//uri^^^tan"] worlds. Their line of advance will move along the ["96*&////...CibD...55880...01010///"] axis.

{"Our time and place is for us to reveal, not you, Damocles. Prepare to reap what you sow, blasphemer!"}

Just before she expired, she rambled about secret worlds, saying 'Gabriel' is one such 'world' but that was her last statement.

One other note, Victor. I've heard unconfirmed reports of at least ["thure....n.../////1177/^^^**"] based in the Periphery. If proven true, the Word of Blake's military is nearly the size of pre-Tukayyid Com Guards.

Choke on that for a  while, sire.

Actually while looking through documents about who's where, my list is out of date. I am going off of `Nejiro Places.docx` that says it was last edited 4/13/2020 and has the following:

Quote
Camp Haken      Tairiku – East of Hilo            Ironborn – Winters Dream – Arkab Harid
Camp Kaki      Tairiku – Northwest of Sakura Onsen       Hands of the Goddess
Camp Kurawa      Tairiku – Southwest of Beru         Kiah’s Hammers
Camp Maru      Tairiku – South of Yousai         Eagle’s Tears
Camp Qishi      Caoyuen – Northeast of Tarawa         None
Camp Senshi      Shinrin – South of Samar         6th Ghost
Fort         Tairiku – North of Yousai         Main Base Planetary Militia

But I know from a recent post that Winter's Dream moved to Senshi and I moved in at Haken. Would it be possible to get an updated version of this list? Or if a diff doc has who's where let me know. This is the only one I've seen it in so far.

Awesome, I put the player factions as located in the camps, and have the 5 camps under the GSF, so it's easy to find them.

“Commander Or’lient, a pleasure.” Chu-i Taleb will give a bow of respect. “My troops and I will do our best to help you with your missions. May our differences provide strength.”

Scene
Who: Indigo Or'lient

Indigo takes his time doing his usual wandering around Camp Haken on his motorcycle. This time though, he has a bit of a disgruntled look on his face and a clipboard. Normally he might head over to Hands of the Goddess or Ironborn to chat with people that he's been on missions with. But with the surprise maneuvers going on with a lot of people it's been pretty quiet.

But, the DCA 268th was new and full of new people to meet. And not only does Indigo prefer to know the people he's on mission with, but he can't say no to his big sister. Other people have no reason to say yes or no to him, which comes in handy at times likes these.

He "winds up" landing at the security gate for the 268th.

"Hey, I don't have an appointment, but I have my credentials, here you go, and would love to have a quick chat with Chu-i Taleb. 5 minutes tops."

The guard will give him a look. He shrugs and motions to the clipboard attached to his bike.

"Or someone that can act in their place. I just have couple questions. I'm from Valkyries of Hanakotoba."

He might get in this time, or he might need an appointment. But he's used to being let in. He'll move his bike to the side so anyone else passing can pass and will sit just looking around blankly.

OOC/IIC things to show intent:
Mostly I don't know how the guard will react along with the person Indigo manages to meet up with.

Indigo is the least military and the least imposing of just about anyone in the unit. He presents Chu-i Taleb with a couple options. He would like to know if they would like to participate in the first mission, but in a minor way. VoH plans to field only VoH units in the first outing, but Indigo would like to know if someone would like to accompany his unit in the Karnov. If they don't already have someone on the field, Indigo would impress that having some hands-on experience with the GSF might make it a bit more comfortable in the future. And that whomever it will be should meet the rest of his unit.

The other option is to have someone in the Sturmfeur with his French speaking uncle. That's likely safer, but hey, who doesn't like to get a bird's eye view of things.

He never says or implies that this is an order from above him, only that he has asked permission before showing up, and is a friendly request, so if they say no to either option, he might push a bit, but in a friendly manner.

On his clipboard is just gibberish. He finds clipboards and disgruntled looks help people think you just have to get something done to check it off the list.

Just poking around and filling out information and reading various things. I noticed in a few missions we've been on we've had eligible C3 networks.

So, I organized a bit. And now there is a C3 DCMS page. If you hover over a vehicle, it will also say if it's 'Master' or 'Slave'.

I have an FRR one also, but no idea which vehicles to add to that list from other people.

At the end of the vehicle name on that page also has an abbreviation of the group that owns em. I put them in the "category" of the unit and also made that unit the owning organization.

Also been thinking we might want to start organizing a bit more horizontally. Instead of trying to make anything more complicated than it is right now (with our units cut into 2 smaller groups already), the C3 list might help some. There was a couple other 'Flavors' of C3, but I didn't see any particular one in more than one unit. FRR might have something, but they are all at Shinrin as a group.

To hell with the Sphere!

What have they done for us lately, other than sap resources and manpower from our continuing exploration of the space beyond our own borders? How many other realms can legitimately claim to have established new worlds in the past hundred years but us? The {House Lords and Functionaries} sit on their posh thrones at their overflowing banquet tables, gorging themselves on the cornucopia of fruits from the labor of their subjects, yet how much better a life has those subjects now, then at the turn of the century?

Oh to be sure there have been 'advancements' in the technology of war-making and manufacture...but what of the common family? What benefit do the men and women of that Great Black Hole we call the Inner Sphere see from the labors of the last two generations of scientists? As has been the case for centuries now, the center of that black hole is none other than Terra, the very cradle of such divisive and pointless destruction as humanity has known for thousands of years.

We needn't concern ourselves with the predictable continuation of warfare in that black hole, though we might hope that a new era of peace and prosperity can be brought about by the doctrinal changes the Blakists might offer the lost children of two dead Star Leagues and countless more dynasties built on a foundation of shifting sand - including ComStar.

No we survialists on the Periphery have naught to do with, or to fear from, the emergence of this new dynasty; for despite anything they might offer over the course of their lives, the Blakists too, shall fall.

To all private citizens, commercial, industrial, government and military agencies of the Free Worlds League. The following is an all points bulletin for your safety.

Be it known that: on 27 October 3068, the mercenary command known as Romanov's Crusaders abandoned its garrison assignment on Connaught. The Crusaders left the Connaught system on 4 November 3068 after ignoring repeated hails from the Eighteenth Marik Militia commander, Colonel Julie Kiel, to return to their post.

Be it also known that: as of 4 November 3068, the mercenary command known as Romanov's Crusaders is considered in breach of contract for abandoning its post without proper federal deployment orders. Arrest warrants for all known members of the mercenary command have been filed. To date, two members returning from special assignment have been apprehended by the Eighteenth Militia. Investigations into the whereabouts of the rest of the command continue.

Private citizens are urged to exercise extreme caution when interacting with Romanov's Crusaders, and to forward any information of sightings of this renegade unit to your local Free Worlds League Military office.

Give 'em intro to your unit  ;)

Good afternoon all,

A Fairly young mercenary. The Swords of Dawn's CO and XO are veterans of the FedCom civil war as well as former members of the Davion Guards, having fought in both the Solaris riots and as part of the campaigns that came after. They served with distinction and were awarded there battlemechs upon leaving its service. The unit formed shortly after with like minded mechwarriors and quickly grew to company strength including its combat and infantry attachments. They have completed a modest amount of defense contracts across both Federated Suns and Kurita over the last few years.

The Units CO Tala Sarin has an affinity for piloting Marauders with her current mech being a MAD-5S. Kept in fairly good condition the unit has a tendency to push an objective even if the units come back a bit worse for wear. Completion of the objective being critical to its early success as a mercenary unit.

Look forward to fighting with all of you and making some c-bills in the process.  ;D

MAD-5S.

Never heard of that one. Just hand it over it’s not a real mech and you should pilot only real mechs. (I have one as my commander’s mech also :) )

I’m sitting around at ice skating so that’s about all I can say right this minute but welcome.

“Commander Sarin I am Jack Nakatomi.” He will extend a hand. “Welcome to Nejiro.”
“Thank You Mr Nakatomi.” Tala will take his hand.
“Please call me Jack.” Looking around. “How about we talk over in that coffee shop.”
“OK.”
“The GSF Liaison officer, Yes.”
“He can be a bit formal. I am Chiji Saganami’s husband and help with the GSF.” He will hand her some cards. “These are contact numbers for the Chiji, Gulia Sato and myself. Gulia is our other GSF liaison for the GSF, she is on Shinrin with a group of the GSF.”

“We found out that our boy has been building like verrückt.” Kai will show Duke a pad with the images they took while in the field.
“Looks similar to what the other ran into.” Duke will note.
“Not the same. They have more energy weapons on this part.” Kai will point to sections. “They have vehicle turrets with hard and automated weapons backing them up.”
“Ich verstehen, his tactical people started here as it is the closest to the coast.”
“It is the best area to start a major offensive. With all the terrain elevation changes and the heavy woods covering the other ways.”

“Mistress Sabin welcome back, I have word for you that the ones you are looking for are still in Siniy. They are camped not far south and are with many others.”
“How many others?”
“Many. Some are ground pounders, some are vehicle crew, and a large group are ‘Mech warriors. They do not like the company of their pay master’s but like the money they get.”
“Interesting.” She looks at the older man. “Do you know if Max and Joe are on world?”
“They are and they are in town. They both just did some work for the Chiji.” Helping her with her bags. “Do you want me to call them?”
“Yes, I need to give them what they are owed.”
“Very good mistress Sabin, any place you would prefer to meet with them?”
“I guess that place Max likes so much.”
“Very good mistress Sabin.”

Looks like we are one MAD-5S away from a full lance. My Mech force commander is in one as well.

Nice to meet you, Rob. What is your unit philosophy? For example, the Winter's Dream is a unit with a unique flavor because the commander is a combat engineer, and my forces tend towards the heavier end of the weight spectrum. So the philosophy for my unit is "defend the defenseless." Basically, that's also why my CO has a relationship ICly with the guys who developed a sedative needle gun. :)

We also try to limit non-combatant involvement if possible. :D

I'd love to hear from all players in the campaign about their unit philosophy as well. If you don't want to, you don't have to. I'd just like to know.

After a long pause, Euron responds. "Call Lady Sugai.  Make arrangements for her to hide Audra and Ana until the business on Constantine Island is finished.  Then, let Audra know she and Ana need to get out of the academy before anyone finds out and to seek shelter with Lady Sugai until further notice."

"So, we're not trusting the Eagle's Tears, sir?"

"They don't know Audra or Ana."  Euron explains.  "Also, if the media find out that the heir to one of the larger Ichizoku is being taken to a GSF base or to the Governor's castle.  It will look like we're abducting her.  Sugai is a more neutral party, even if she is an ally.  There would be less of a PR nightmare.  Until we can prove what the Konstantinoviches have done, it's safer if Ana isn't seen to be associating with the GSF or the Governor."

"Understood."  Alannah obeyed.  "I'll make the arrangements immediately."

"Also, tell Lorren to put his unit together as quickly as he can.  He needs to move out ASAP."

“Welcome Indigo Or’lient.” Tai-i Mira Talab will offer a seat and some tea. “I am happy to see you and look forward to work with you and the Swords oof Dawn.” Looking at the data pad that has a roster of both units. “My unit is happy to be offered this chance to work with both units so we can see how others handle the assignments give to protect this world. As I understand the Sho-sho’s orders we are to augment your unit and that of the Swords of Dawn during GSF missions. We will provide both units with any needed support we can.”

for the players:
the 268th is for the Valkyries and Swords to fill in holes for missions. as both units are new and only a company (that has two lances on special assignment).
both units will need to work with each other so that they do not look to use the same parts of the 268th.

I will need a list of units from the Swords of Dawn that will be going to Shinrin.
