The problem is that an Inner Sphere Gauss Rifle is 15 tons before ammo.  That's an awful lot to devote to a secondary weapon.

General BattleTech Discussion / Re: Customer Service

Physical product issue resolved by submitting claim. Refund issued by my CC company.

Digital product issue resolved via direct email to TPTB (as suggested on CGL Discord).

I'm sad to say that I will no longer be purchasing CGL products.

Physical item purchase from CGL store on 21 January not fulfilled.

Emailed customer service 3 March. Received auto-response, "We received your email request and it's gone into our automated system. We will respond as quickly as possible (though, admittedly, as we try to get caught up there will be a delay, for which we apologize sincerely). Thank you for understanding the delay."

No further contact.

Emailed customer service regarding new issue with digital product on 28 March. No response whatsoever.

I see no reason to encourage underwater play...
It's in the game, ain't it? By trying to avoid this conflict, the Clans might call you a coward.

I am intensely interested in what the Shadow Knight looks like.

What the ShadowHawk always needed,  the Wolverine-M treatment, lol

It is very similar, though the placement of the lasers wiill make playstyle a bit different.

5 isn't too bad, but then again, it's only 15 tons, so, yeah, LOL.

It wouldn't qualify for this contest but I did a 20 ton Introtech mech designed for basically this purpose years ago.

Basically, a Hornet & Stinger had a baby.

Hornet Movement Profile at 5/8/5, but Stinger type weaponry, only doubled.

IIRC, My "Gendarmerie - Garrison Mech" had a pair of MLs & Quad MGs w/ 100 shots.

Fluffed w/ using "Rubber Bullets".

It'd take some tweaking, and you might need to reduce the jump, but that should be easy to rework as a SecurityMech.

Haven't seen gatchaman nor BOTP (but I've heard of them), but I did see G-force while it's on Cartoon Network's Toonami during the 90s; which are the same, but with differences.

Again, I was a 90s kid, what do you expect?

Given that for a crowdfunding campaign it should never be open for less than two months, they should at least keep it open until QML starts to literally ship. Now's not the time to do another bad job.

Battlemechs are an ALL-terrain vehicle though and someone might want to play Blue Submarine No 6, it wouldn't actually change that much but its in the same niche as fighting on a Warship and there are rules for that. There are also plenty of reasons to fight below the waves (Harjel, Gold/Minerals, Planetary Defense C2 Nodes, factories, Society bases, etc...) but far fewer to fight on a Warship.

BattleMechs / Re: Shadow Knight: It's cool because it sounds edgy

I did one that gave it more of the Griffin-S treatment myself by keeping the LRM but dropping the SRM/AC for ML/LL.

Though, it now occurs to me that maybe the coolest way to modify a ShadowHawk is to mix the D & K methods.

AC for PPC.
SRM for ML.
3 Extra Heatsinks.
No extra Armor or JJs so you know, it stays a ShadowHawk in feel at 5-8-3 as lame as that is.

With multiple leg and arm options to create a variety of poses,

It actually says that in the description

I believe it has 2 sets of legs, standing and walking.  1 set of arms.

Maybe it should of been called Limited instead of Premium.

I just expect more from a "premium" omnimech.  I get alt variants with IWM.
