(Answered) Rapid-Fire mode and rounds expended
« on: 15 September 2019, 12:32:55 »
Per errata of TO, it says Each rapid-fire burst uses a number of rounds equal to the damage rolled below(whether it hit or not) x3.

So, I have the questions:

1: Does it means what it says? For example, if I rolled 3 on the heat generated it actually spends 9 rounds(3x3), right? And spends 15 rounds when I rolled a 5, as well(5x3)?

2: What about Heavy/Light Machine Gun, that increases/reduces the roll? Are they needs same numbers of rounds with normal Machine Gun(rolledx3) or their +1/-1 to the roll is counted on the roll before multiply it by 3?

1) It means what it says.

2) The modifiers is part of the roll, not separate.  It determines the number of rounds fired and damage.

Thanks. Then Heavy Machine Gun spends (1d6+1)x3 rounds while Light Machine Gun spends (1d6-1)x3 rounds(with minimum 3 rounds).
