As far as being released soon...probably not. Last I talked to IWM on this subject, it was going to be roughly around Mid to End of February that these would be released. THIS IS NOT A 100% THING...crap happens, schedules get pushed back, or on a rare occasion moved up. So it could be slightly sooner, or later.

I seem to recall recent history of iwm’s quarterly releases falling the back end of the three month window so late February/ early March isn’t terribly out of the ordinary

Having managed to get a very kind person to send me the MAD 7D/9D from GenCon ... it's a lovely mini, very good to work with. Not quite as good as the Classic, but definitely worth adding to your collection.

Agreed...I've got 2 here myself.

Yep...that does happen from time to time, but they have been pretty good lately.

This summer at the earliest, and that is presuming the box sets hit streets in April.

Of course some are pending legal issues. I am still trying to track down one more of those wasps before they got pulled

Did I miss the announcement of this quarter's release?  I will want to make sure the local store orders extra of what I am interested in, last few orders everyone else got the new stuff.

I don't know anyone that has bought any from me that has turned them into the B variant, but if that happens I'll get you a pic.

Stinger should have the render of the B varaint though!

Arms are the same.  Its the cost of having both configs inside the same blister :)

If there is enough interest, I may request IWM make variants available via fan financing, but that is completely up to them to move forward with it.

Is the Cougar compatible with the 3050 omni parts?

It's all good, I really like the look of this mini and can't wait to get a couple. I think I can easily add PPC barrels to the arms

Not explicitly, no.  Should be pretty easy to mod though.  The arms have several points where a jewelers saw will be able to get in no problem, and then the missile covers should serve as a great starting point for several other mods.

The 3050 parts just don't really fit in with the shoulders of the cougar, it just doesn't make a ton of sense.

Should be very very easy :)

I need Anzus and Antlions right now.
Catalyst Demo Agent #679

Kansas City players, or people who are just passing through the area, come join us at the Geekery just off Shawnee Mission Parkway for BattleTech!  Current days are Tuesdays in the afternoon and evening.  I can't make every single week, but odds are pretty good that somebody will be there.
