Title: (Answered) Battleforce/Quick Strike Weapon Hit Criticals
Post by: turboblaze on 25 April 2011, 21:07:23
How are units that have weapons broken out as special abilities (IE: LRM, AC) effected by Weapon Hit Criticals? Do you subtract the net effect of criticals (in case of multiple weapon hits) to the combined damage of the weapons or does the weapon hit criticals reduce all weapons at the same time?

For example, an AS7-D Atlas has received one weapon hit critical, when it makes an attack at short is its damage 4[Base 2 + 1 for the LRM+ 2 for the AC - 1 for the weapon hit critical] or 2[Base 1 + 0 for the LRM +1 for the AC, reducing all weapon by 1 for the critical hit]?

The Weapon Hit Critical Hit effects the Final Damage Value. So out of your two examples, this is correct:

its damage 4[Base 2 + 1 for the LRM+ 2 for the AC - 1 for the weapon hit critical]
