Torpedoes can be used on mechs but you have to mount torpedo launchers to use them. They can’t be used in SRM, LRM, or MML launchers.

It's listed under alternate ammunitions for missiles with a clan base in IO.

But I agree, the HBK is a fine.beauty, it's the most common BFG out there to cause mayhem with. But the alt. versions are nifty too.

Just experiment with them, eventually you'll fine out what fits and what doesn't.

Ok, I'll try to explain:

Back when the Toad was first published, and later updated in BMR and BMRr, it had a SRM 2 with TWO reloads. Now is it a Mech scale SRM launcher or an Infantry scale HEAVY SRM launcher which has TWO missiles? Either way, they still do 2 points damage 3ach hit.

I think the latter, cause of art, BUT stats trump art. Now I can further argue that if it is one or the other, then by that comparison, we will have an answer. Mech or Infantry based.

Which would have a significant impact to future designs. If it is Mech based... mechs can use, if infantry ...

Multi-Missile Systems fire only LRMs and SRMs. They can be mounted on 'Mechs, vehicles, ASFs, etc.

Multi-Purpose Missiles are munitions that can be mounted on BattleArmor only and can operate in the water or out. They cannot be fired by 'Mech mounted launchers.

If Toads are Infantry scaled, then ALL infantry can use them. It just seems silly to have one type only. Like Proto ACs, everyone can use them, but they're for Protos.

That's not at all what that means. Multi-Purpose Missiles are Battle Armor-only equipment. They are not SRM tubes, they are not LRM tubes, and they're the only missile weapon that can operate as both missile weapon and torpedo without a refit job.

Which just means I only have a half tons worth for every full ton of ammo. SR 2 ( 25 ), 4 ( 12 ), 6 ( 7 ) LR 5 ( 12 ), 10 ( 6 ), 15 ( 4 ) and 20 ( 3 ).

According to the same use as alt. Autocannon ammos. Since your sarna link definition, they weigh twice as much as a normal load.

BA get King David Light Gauss Rifles, Recoilless Rifles, BA LBX, BA Artillery, and Support PPCs . . . none of these show up mounted on vehicles or mechs. We get weapons that do mech scale damage but are exclusive to BA. I think the horsemeat is quite tender without further ministrations.

How much of the stuff in the Rec Guides so far feels like it fits the FWL style?

Support PPCs are able to be mounted on a Pintle Mast, half ton. Which allows infantry weapons to new mounted on anything other than BA, that's 1,000 KG.

SP-PPC on the other hand is a mobile 2 MP infantry weapons, 1,800 KG.

Then the Light, standard and heavy.

This is false.
It's literally 'mech, conventional infantry, or battle armor. You denying the option doesn't make it true.
Battle Armor have their own equipment list. As Scotty posted the header for. "Mech scale" doesn't exist, unless you mean equipmnet listed as BattleMech Equipment, in which case there's a "Battle Armor Scale" by the same logic.

How do people feel about the Lupus, since it's being made in the Clan Protectorate? My first thought is to load the Prime up with Semi-Guided LRMs
