One of the entries in the timeline for the Capellan Confederation on page 13 of Handbook: House Liao states that in 2320, the Terran Hegemony attacked Capella. That seems a little bit odd, because Capella was a long way past the border of the Terran Hegemony in 2320 - or even in 2366, according to the maps in Handbook: House Liao - and to get to Capella, the Hegemony would've had to move troops across the Sarna Supremacy and possibly the Duchy of Liao.

The House Liao (The Capellan Confederation) sourcebook has a reasonable amount of detail regarding wars going on around the period and mentions on page 19 that the Hegemony absorbed 11 independent systems in "Capellan space" between 2316 and 2335, while discussing the decline of the Capellan Commonality, but is conspicously silent about Capella being the subject of a Terran Hegemony attack.

I had a look in the Star League Sourcebook, and on page 20 the sourcebook states that James McKenna's "Campaigns of Persuasion" which started in 2316 and seem to have run through til about the 2330s featured two major campaigns, one of which started with the capture of Quentin, Errai and Helen and finished with the capture of Towne in 2317, and a second major campaign that started in 2320 and took Terra Firma, Capella and Nanking before ending, with the Campaigns of Persuasion netting the Hegemony more than 40 worlds in total. I think this may be where the mention of Capella cited in Handbook: House Liao comes from.

The world profiles for Terra Firma and Capolla in Dark Age Worlds (3130) indicates that both worlds have long had a productive relationship with each other and formed a strong economic block and that they were given a significant degree of freedom of action when they joined the Terran Hegemony. Based on the comments in Dark Age Worlds, the relative positions of Capolla, Terra Firm and Nanking, the position of Capella and what seems to be the unlikely proposition that the Terran Hegemony would be in combat actions around Terra Firma and Nanking while also striking at the heart of the Capellan Hegemony - over 120 light years beyond Nanking - is it reasonable to assume that the mention of the Hegemony attacking Capella in 2320 in both the Star League Sourcebook and Handbook: House Liao is an error, and that it should actually be Capolla that's being attacked that year?

It's more interesting than optimal, and therefore better. O0 - Weirdo

It should be Capolla, yes.

Thank you, I've added a note to that effect in the errata thread.  :)
