I'm thinking economicstimuluspackage would be more appropriate.

I'd be mortally embarrassed if it stuck that way.

That's why you only do it for like two hours, and change it back before you leave.

Bullshit, I responded. Now readers, believe it of not but there was once a time, long ago, when I cared for someone more than myself.  It sucked, big time. I was constantly miserable. Ever since I told myself it was okay to care more about myself than anyone else, or even everyone else in the world, my life has been great.

I defined happiness then as simply security and self-acceptance. If you ate okay with who you are everything will be cool. Me, I like me a lot.

So, I was thinking. You know what the first sign that the FedCom was doomed was? When Melissa took Hanse's name. Three other Archons have had hyphenated last names and they too almost destroyed the Commonwealth from within.  The second she decided to use someone else's name? The whole arrangement was humped.

Yep, should have just gone with Davion. Of course, it wouldn't have been her daughter that killed her in this cae, it would have been someone from the Brotherhood.

I KNEW that football and pro wrestling would eventually intersect. I'm just mad it didn't happen by Roethlisberger having his team turn on him and destroy him with chair shots.

You mean the promos cut before the AFC divisional round didn't count?

Where the hell was Vince McMahon when you came up with this?!?  I'd watch the hell outta this, with a bucket of popcorn.  Then the lights go out, you hear babies screaming, and when the lights come back up, the Raiders have surrounded him.  They sweep him off to do God knows what, but the next time you see him, he has DEAD, DEAD EYES.

And hey, new Raider QB.

Course, then again, the Raiders could solve their owner problem similarly.

Also, just curious: what was Vash's first suggestion for my name?

Wasn't that the XFL?  Anything with a McMahon in it eventually becomes pro wrestling...including Senate races.   ;D

Yep, on SyFy, of all places. The folks at NBC/Universal deserved to be bought by Comcast when you make decisions like this.

The difference there was that he basically tried to iron out all the NFL crap rules and play smashmouth football.  I'd have gone exactly the way he did, but I'd have gone further:

1)  Linebackers have full-body armor, and are armed with rubber truncheons.
2)  Plotlines/angles outside of the games (leading to snap changes in management, star roster upheaval, and general ******, etc)
3)  Players can be recruited at any time, but the deal has to be signed in the "Money Room", with the new deal being signed by a handshake.  NO CONTRACTS.
4)  The players choose to 'jump ship'.  Franchises can't decide to trade.
5)  Ironman, bitches.  One team, up and back.

The only way to switch teams is to rip off your jersey, revealing the new team jersey underneath, and destroy a former teammate.

In mid game.
