The Clans never lost the advanced battery technology of the Star League and have only made improvements over the years to power their heavy energy based military infrastructure. It was thus obvious that a large power cell would be adapted for motive power that could be recharged quickly from existing power infrastructure. All of their vehicles operate on battery power but their Touman Technical Support Vehicles do so with an extended range and eye for stealth and reliability in off-road performance.
Their pintel mounted support weapons are mounted above the driver's cab and are typically unstaffed in safe zones with the Assistant Driver being responsible for manning it should they be ambushed. In combat zones however there is always a dedicated gunner for situational awareness and better performance than the Laborer Assistant Driver. While they do mount light armor the GP Trucks are only proofed against common man-portable or lighter Heavy weapons and encountering a proper military machine will typically result in a destroyed truck.
