I just reposted the Imp instead of the Wolverine. The Imp had been the other article I'd long wanted to get active again. It's certainly my longest one, so if you substitute quantity for quality... :-[

I know it's a neverending story with me, but I'm just crushed under work and that Herb place and that perpetual writer's block. At least I get to have a jab at the MUL with this entry and I hope that even after 3.5 years it remains a reasonably enjoyable read.

Ok, so this week I've started powering through a huge backlot of writing that I need/ed to do. Right now, I'm not failing. And I had a huge amount of fun re-editing the Imp. Which all means:

  • put the Wolverine on the schedule again. Sometime relatively soon will be cool
  • put the Hornet on my list. Well, do so if you tell me it's ok to post a pretty short article. Because it will be
  • I'll want to do the Karhu in Q3
  • Blackjack is still my "holy cow" so to speak. I hereby renew my claim but it's still "distant future"

Thanks very much for keeping book and for all the patience involved!

The Hornet is going to be fairly short since there's just not that many of them.  I'm looking forward to you justifying the remarks in the Imp article, anyway.

That needs justification? Oh my, you're going to make me dig out the "old fart" persona... Well, that's a hook I guess!

But if it does need justification, then writing an article on the lovely Hornet, no matter how short, is clearly essential!  O:-)

I can't seem to find who did the original Pariah article (I don't see it in my files and the wayback machine is failing me), but if the author doesn't want to claim it, I'd like to do a MotW on it and the Septicemia, as well as claiming articles on the Osteon and the Cephalus. As for scheduling, I would take the first open slot (after the new product waiting period) for the Pariah/Septicemia, and just take a reservation on the other two.

Wow, I could have sworn I'd reposted that. May I do so? Alternatively, I could send you a slightly edited (but un-updated) version that you could put into your MotW article?

I didn't check every page of the fan articles (only chanman's fan article directory), but I didn't see it. I'm more than happy to let you repost it or include it in an updated article. I was planning on doing more of an in-character report for all three mechs, but what ever you want is fine with me, you got the article before and I don't want to step on anyone's toes.

If you guys are trying to cover the Dragoon mechs, then I'd be happy to share or repost my old Dragoon mechs overview from several years ago, which might at least provoke some intresting discussion.

Sure, go ahead. I'm only doing them because I'm one of the larger Dragoons fans in my area (small as it may be in reality).

Oh, and add me to the next available slot. Have the Sphinx ready.

If my work is satisfactory I'd like to do the Seraph on the next open slot (and reserve the rest of them celestials for future MoTWs too). ;)

This may be a bit of long shot, but does anyone still have any copies of my old Blakist Target of the Week articles? And if so, could you please contact me by PM?

Back on the old boards, I and some others (Kojak and Maelwys) did articles for the Celestials. If you're interested I can pass along the articles I wrote for the Deva, Malak, and Grigori.

Sorry, I thought I had it, but I don't see it in my files yet, I will let you know if I find it. I did find a pdf I made of Iron Mongoose's original MotW article on the Celestials, titled "Mechs of the Week: Celestial Series Sextuple Edition!" It's too big of a pdf for me to attach here though.

Not sure if this is the best place to ask but any who. Does anyone still have the old MotW article for the Nobori-nin/Huntsman? If it's not too much trouble (and I'm serious about that part) I'd love to see it reposted. Thank you much!

Just a point - 'Mech of the Week is theoretically scheduled for Fridays.  Granted, we do miss schedules sometimes, but this is the first time I've seen someone put one up too early.  Not that I'm complaining!  Just letting you know.  And you're up for the 18th with the Seraph.

Roger that. If nobody minds, I'd like to also put a Reservation on the rest of the celestials, that is, Deva, Grigori, Preta, and Malak. Gonna do them in order from biggest to smallest. :)

Considering this unit's entry is dated 2005+repost in Chanman's archive, I would suspect that it's an old CWD article. However, I am missing it from my own archives. Unless a newer article was written sometime down the road and is missing from the archive, I'd say it's time for a revamp.

And if so, I'd rather want to lay claim to that one myself. So please, someone refer us to a current-ish article, or put me down for the Huntsman/Nobori-nin! O0 After the Hornet.

I need that, too. Would I just put my articles on the waiting list, they would probably never get done. That's why I always only chose one and give myself a deadline - immediately ;)

Hopefully, he'll be able to finish the Wolvie by then...  ;)
