"Looking for cutting-edge weapons? Seeking out awesome tanks to cow your enemies? Wanting to reach out
and touch your enemies with the caress of concentrated light?
If so, put this book down and walk away.
But if you are on the edge, willing to do anything for a bit of peace of mind against the ills of the galaxy, then
this catalog is your last chance for some okay firepower on the cheap."
--Excerpt from The TRB Military Catalog, 3035 Edition
With all the tech advances ongoing throughout the Inner Sphere and beyond, there will always be places that
fall through the cracks. Small towns and frontier worlds defended by nothing better than some guys with old
guns and Molotov cocktails, desperate to get their hands on even Retrotech equipment for defense against
pirates.
What follows is a small selection of vehicles utilizing technology that would not be out of place 1000 years ago
on pre-spaceflight Terra.

APC (Tracked)
Based on the old design, this version is twice as heavy having to use long-outdated tech
as a basis. With half the speed of the original and poor armor materials, only the truly
desperate will use it.

At its best, this primitive version can only match the cruising speed of its originator. Using
centuries-old technology, even with its extra suspension, this APC is at best a fourth-rate
vehicle.

The T40 Medium Tank
Weighing in at 40 tons, this unremarkable tank is the basis of three other vehicles and one
variant. A top speed ot 32 kph means it won't be going very far quickly. Armed with only a
Medium Rifle Cannon and 2 machine guns, all customers buying this tank get a free copy of
'Location, Location, Location,' the tankers guide to using cover. Most buyers acquiring this
tank are told in no uncertain terms about the weaknesses, such as not taking any hits from
anything stronger than a medium autocannon. At the very least, a basic fire control system
helps with actually hitting the target, with some crews practicing enough to not need it.

for a single vehicular flamer in the turret, supplied by one ton of ammo in a special storage
tank.

DV-115 Jackalope LSV
Trading armor for speed, the Jackalope is intended to be a desert scout. With a top speed
of 64 kph, this sand buggy carries a single light machine gun and a ten-tube rocket launcher.
The Jackalope came into existence shortly after both weapons became viable for use.

P1 Fireball
Like the Jackalope LSV, the P1 Fireball is a recent innovation, being equipped with a single
light machine gun that trades firepower for better range. Slow by any standards, the Fireball
has two underwing hardpoints for carrying bombs.

B1 Beetle LSV
Older than the Jackalope, the Beetle is more of a general use vehicle. Armed
with a turret-mounted medium rifle and forward-facing machine gun, the Beetle
is meant for defense of urban areas and built-up terrain. A top speed of 54 kph
and off-road suspension allow this vehicle to go over most landscapes.

SH1-A Stormhammer
With the ability to fight off even small 'Mechs, let alone battle armor or some
lightly armed combat vehicles, the Stormhammer weighs in at 160 tons, giving
it much to work with in armor and armaments. A top speed of 21 kph means
this tank is meant for defense of static positions. Armed with a heavy and
medium rifle in the turret, a Sniper Artillery Cannon mounted on the front, and
two machine guns, the Stormhammer is ready to take on almost anything a
pirate raid will bring. While primitive and equivalent to rolled steel, twenty tons
of armor give this tank an excellent amount of protection against anything up
to medium lasers.
