Title: How to use prototype DHS in MM Lab?
Post by: Colt Ward on 17 April 2024, 18:47:51
Trying to craft something to go with MAD-4X for that period w/o having to go handcraft files . . . is there a trick to this I am missing?  Every time I try it locks up on me.

What version are you using?  If MML is locking up on you on a recent version that would be worth a bug report.

It is not the latest MM Lab, just trying to find out if there is a trick since it is a non-standard piece of gear.

Just did a quick test using 49.12 - took an Archer ARC-2R, changed date to 3040, tech level to experimental, and heatsink type to Double (Prototype).  No problems, outside of needing to allocate one in the critical hit table.

Thanks I looked at the two versions I had, it was locking up on 47- even if it had the MAD-4X.  Tried a 49 and it worked but your post told me what to look for.
