"Color Blind" Question
« on: 12 March 2011, 18:04:24 »
Vic Bonilla Pilot card states:

COLOR BLIND At the Beginning of your command stage, roll one six-sided die. On a result of 4-6, place a token on this card if there is no token on it; on a 1-3, remove the token from this card if there is a token on it. While this card has a token on it, all red special equipment showing on this unit's combat dial may be used as if it were green equipment, and vice versa.

I did not see an (Optional) ...  so it must be rolled EVERY command stage!!!!!!!!!!!     (is this Correct?)

however,----"  unit's combat dial may be used...  " gives me the understanding that when there is a token on it i can CHOOSE to use either color, or Must i use the opposite color?

The wording indicates it is your choice, but the die must still be rolled every turn.

OK so it is the PLAYERS CHOICE if  he wants to use either color.....  but this is ONLY when there is a token on the card!!!!!!!
otherwise the player MUST use what is on the DIAL.

 8) Cool, I get it now. thanks    ;D

And the reason to always roll is because it does matter for the opponent's turn since there is reflective armor\decoy.
