Alright, my 4x6 board is behind my games book boxes and my Imperial Loyalist buffet so it's not coming out anytime soon. Instead, tomorrow, I'll put together a mini-version of what I'm talking about on a 1x1 foot MDF board and take pics of the process. That cool?

You could always just make your own hexed terrain it's not to hard. I even put up some 'HowTo' videos on my YouTube channel showing how I make mine

I watched this! It was very good and I learned alot. Once i get the hang of painting mechs again I will attempt to create my own terrain.

"Thanks." Kai smiled. "So what kind of planet did you give Katherine? A gas giant?"
"Would have been a nice choice. Maybe next year." Victor shook his head. "Nope, it was a lifeless little ball; cold, hard, and ugly to the core. Reminded me of her. Hope she likes it."

Crystal Caste makes nice dry erase vinyl game mats that are reasonably priced.

Chessex also makes similar mats though youcan get more size options and design options

Don't forget they make cheap hexagonal tile in almost every conceivable size out of many materials.

In fact you guys can look forward to a thread from me in about a week titled "N-scale Battletech the way the Romans would have played it...on fine Italian marble!"  :D

Got my starter set of 20 square feet inbound.
