The Kiiro no Hoshi 5467 stellar system has two asteroid belts, the Naiba Showakusei-tai and the Sotugawa Showakusei-tai with millions of rocky bodies rich in metal and mineral resources, several trojan asteroid clusters, a kuiper belt with thousands of planetoids and dwarf planets - of which several dozen are claimed as Nejiroan Crown Lands in reserve for future resource needs, and an oort cloud which originates several Nejiroan meteor showers and comets. 
There are a plethora of mining outposts, and science stations based on asteroids, moons, planets, habitats, and space stations throughout the system each with a few dozen to a few thousand personnel. Each may contain command, emergency response, security, law enforcement, military, resident quarters, markets, armoury, recreation, banking, assaying, weapons,  processesing, laboratories, research projects, shops, inns, repair facilities, medical, guildhalls, pubs and saloons, joy houses and baths, mines, farms, and/or other resources. They, as well as the stellar ports and parks, are governed under the aegis of Nejiro's Parliament - Stellar Affairs Ministry (Minister Ram Santosh) as special wards and function similarly to free cities or chartered villages depending on scale. Some of the more well known mining outposts [mostly located on asteroids of which there are more than six million in system] that mine a variety of resources including basalt, helium, platinum, lead, barium, silicates, magnesium, nickel, iron, carbon, chondrites, gold, silver, quicksilver, tungsten, cobalt, osmium, iridium, zirconium, yttrium, strontium, rhodium, tin, gemstones, crystals, salts, gases, aluminum, organic materials, titanium, water etc., are Rockhound, Pitmans Rest, Blossom Rock, Hanging Wall, Country Rock, Greenstone, Rockbolt, Calico, Tuatara, Harmony, Ace High, Daisy, Brave Depths, Centurion, The Dark, Grouter, The Laughing Dogs, and Kedge.

“So far all of this is nothing over what I would call the top. I would say talk with the different Ichizoku leaders to see if they would offer you land for the production plant.” Meiyo looks over the plan Kono handed her. “I am sure any one of them would be happy to rent you space for this venture. They will ask for some of the production and or employment for local workers.”
“Something that is in the plan. We would have taken Stark up on the offer they made but we have a lot of money invested in these projects. We do have one other ask for the imports and that is would Phoenix be up to helping with shipping. We have spoken with Mr. Corado and he will work with on this but with moving here and a smaller fleet he can only offer some help.”

Minerva is Nejiro's first space habitat; there are now several in system - Luna, Arcadia, Ukiyo {floating world} (the Nejiro stellar system's premier 'Red Light' community), Plutus (mining resource and geology habitat), Saxe (agricultural habitat) - and more under construction. The hab was built in system and sits at the stellar system L4. It is a modified O'Neill Cylinder with over sixty thousand residents. The double cylindrical colony is six point four kilometers in diameter and thirty six kilometers in length. Each cylinder rotates, to maintain 1G, along its axis once per minute in a radius of five hundred meters in opposite directions, connected at each end by a rod via a bearing system. Each interior is divided into six lengthwise strips, three window sections which let in sunlight, alternating with three land sections where people live and work (in Minerva's case mostly science and technology). Outside each window section is a huge mirror system that reflects sunlight to illuminate the land section on the opposite side, by adjusting the angle of the mirrors the level of sunlight can be controlled to create a sense of passing time and different seasons. Since the main source of energy is sunlight the mirrors are controlled so they always face the star. As a result, the bases of the mirrors are placed on the opposite end of the cylinder from the star where many dome shaped agricultural plants are arranged in a ring fourteen point thirty five kilometers in diameter, These plants are seperated into three blocks which are positioned so they are not hidden in the shadows and produce more than enough food for the inhabitants. The industrial block is located in the middle to allow for minimized gravity for some manufacturing processes. The central axis is a zero-gravity region with recreational and experimental facilities. Opposite the base of the mirror system are the solar furnace, energy storage, and small craft bays.

Buda is a civilian port with several civilian shipyards and spacedocks on asteroid 399 Moa of the Naiba Showakusei-tai, a spherical object 2400 kilometers in diameter with a dense heavy core, a surface gravity of six point four meters per second squared and a thin blue atmosphere consisting mostly of nitrogen, methane, and carbon monoxide, it has a cold rocky, cratered, and hilly surface with a layer of ice less than one millimeter thick except at the poles which are composed of frozen tholins, methane and water ice several hundred meters thick. “So from the reports so far the raid on Silverbridge makes no sense. The raiders did not swoop in fast to destroy the section that they did, they walked in giving the people time to get out. They attacked buildings that had tunnels so that anyone in said buildings had a good chance to get out. Then they destroyed the three factories. That is when the last of the local cameras went down. When the drone got on site they were attacking the same buildings. As the GSF closed in they did not make to get away and shot up the buildings more. When they did move off the Battlemechs moved off in three different directions, the Maxims all headed off to the east. The most troubling is why have the Battle Armor stay behind? They did not attack the forces that the GSF sent after them. They did not try to attack the civilians. They made sure not to trip sensors. I know that NPO is going over the tunnels to make sure that are still not in them to make for later problems but for now it looks like they just moved off.”
“Well that Battle Armor is forcing us to keep a large number of NPO and GSF people in Silverbridge. That just may be what they are looking for. WoB will know that we can’t walk away and that having the people of Silverbridge on edge work in their advantage.”

Silverbridge is a chartered city founded about sixty years ago by the Sugai Dai Ichizoku, to more efficiently access their deposits of iron, carbon, clay, and silver in the area. The city claims about four hundred square kilometers of the badlands at the edges of the Eastern Desert, the Eastern Kiso Mountains, the Tiger Leap Canyons, and the Eastern Sea in the Argent Chiku. The end of the last geologic age saw the retreat of glaciers and the redirection of several rivers and the sea in the area, which left behind currently dormant volcanoes (Soren-san, Sparta Yama, Timber Mountain, and Mount Nonda), active fault zones (the Elsinore Rift, the Nankai Trench, and the Honey Lake Fault), and major deposits of iron, clay, dimension stones, kaolinite, feldspar, flint, fossils, salts, petrified wood, jadeite, obsidian, blue opal, beryl, quartzes, garnet, lead, zinc, lithium, uranium, nickel, azurite, copper, tungsten, mercury, silica, chromium, turquoise, tin, carbon, industrial diamonds, gold (mines 'produce' under one hundred tonnes per year), and silver. There are several steel mills (aogami, shirogami, tamahagane, gingami, stainless, molybdenum, damascus, and industrial), porcelain works, ferrocrete works, ceramic factories, glass factories, and military grade armor producers located in the slowly growing settlement. Even now decades after its founding, the city is still somewhat remote and secluded - at present there are no tollways through the chiku, and the population remains under twenty thousand residents. Until recently the city remained unnoticed by pirates and outside aggressors and was only occaisionally harassed by local bandits, due mostly to the bulk nature of its products. It is popular with artists and crafters in metal, clay, and stone. Bladesmiths and jewelry smiths are the fastest growing population due to the exemplary quality of the local resources. The newest addition to Silverbridge is Gossamer (publicly traded 38.7 Ryu per share), a textile company that combines fibers from the ironwoods of the Sequoia Rainforest, spider silks, and other natural fibers to produce fabrics used in personnel armor, sports equipment, athletic apparel, intimate apparel, space apparel and equipment, hazardous environment and materials handling apparel, storage and equipment, personal protective safety gear, compression wear, and support wear. Due to climate and geography supercells are common in this area producing torrential rains, flash floods, macrobursts, dust storms, tornadoes, and lightning clusters - therefore most of the still growing city is built underground in the Hebi Tani {snake valley}, or within Flower Peak (1472 meters) part of the Hebi Han'i {snake range} with tunnels connecting various areas of the city and mines, some as far as sixty kilometers away from the city center. Local travel around the city (outside of rail, water, and air) utilizes off road and all terrain vehicles as there are no paved roads above ground, and travel through the tunnel systems are restricted to electric or hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, some are large enough to accomodate fuel cell powered industrial mechs. Agriculture is mostly confined to 'ponic and vertical farms and greenhouses, with the exception of several herds of free-range domesticated deer, sheep, and goats which utilize specially trained guardian dogs and storm shelters within their grazing zones in the hills and mountains. The city center (mostly public buildings such as City Hall, the Guildhall Collegium, the hospital emergency entrance and landing pads, solar and wind farms, the Chiku offices {Rafe Vilkas MP}, and Hebi Station - a showstopper of marbled peach and green polished marble) is constructed of dimension stones, mostly basalt and granite, and military grade ballistic glass to withstand earthquakes and storms, with no building allowed over ten stories high - including the newly constructing NPO Tower and the Sugai Yoroi Zensho-chi {outpost}. Summer highs regularly reach forty degrees celsius which makes the city underground more comfortable to live and work, and so reaches as deep as thirty stories in places with spaces large enough for factories, sports fields, and concert halls. The landscape is dotted with sensor equipped camouflaged and secured cisterns, skylights, garage, and ventilation architecture. The north end of the valley hosts a small regional airport (Argent Aerodrome) and the inland Argent Canal waterway (suitable for narrowboats, river junks, and barges supplied by waysides and road stations at the locks) fed by a small offshoot of the Chikugo-gawa, the Gin-gawa {silver river}, that links to Silverbridge Port (currently only reachable by rail, air, and water) on the coast of the Eastern Sea at the outermost border of the city, approximately one hundred kilometers from the city center. Currently the biggest corporate entities in the city are Stark Heavy Industries - metal refineries and armor factories (publicly traded 1,810 Ryu per share), Light Au Naturale - manufactures solar tube lights, skylights, and natural daylight fixtures and bulbs (private), and Cypriot - manufactures organic ultra filtered and strained goat milk greek yogurt in plain and a dozen or so revolving seasonal flavors like berry smooth, lemon curd, pumpkin pie, and chocolate truffle (public 47.3 Ryu per share). Visitors are advised to be cautious and aware as most of the human habitation and activity is underground the wildlife has prerogative above and roams throughout the area with absolute freedom, including migrating herds (bighorn sheep, antlered rabbits, boar, goats, horses) and predators (cougar, eagle owl, coywolves, adder,
harpy eagle, landsharks {constrictor snake - six to eight meters}, novosaurs) willing and able to take down adult humans.

Pluoton is one of Jovian's largest moons with a rocky body that is mountainous and cratered, with no atmosphere, and a similar gravity to Nejiro (slightly less at 8.9m/s2 vs Nejiro's 10.8 m/s2). It has had mines operating for centuries (it was first established as a classified resource of the Terran Alliance Navy in 2219 during the Third Alliance Grand Survey) and is rich in metals and minerals, and is projected to be for millennia. The Free (domed) City of Pluoton has seven large domes (mines - entrances and offices, agriculture, industry - refining and processing, administration and commerce, recreation, residences, and port) and several dozen smaller domes plus several underground and orbital habitats. These are managed, operated, and governed cooperatively by the local Koichizoku Elders (Corvae, Yamana, Teck, Barrick, Sugano, Rokuda, Kase, Yap, Erdeli, Tsaplin, Xu, Wen, Durchenko, Ciar, Moon, Zhang, Seagha) and the Pluoton City Council led by elected Mayor Iskander Endika Moon. The mines (which produce carbons, platinum, iron, iridium, nickel, cobalt, hydrogen, ammonia, gold, copper, rare earths, silicates, iridium, palladium, magnesium, basalt and other elements) have created a labyrinth of numerous maze-like structures under the surface of the moon. There is a local resident population of approximately two million, which swells occaisionally with prospectors, students, and tourists. The Pluoton Militia, the Hadesu no Ryoken {hounds of hades} commanded by Ivan Subutai, is a large cooperative combined armed self-defense force (with a very aggressive space defense of small craft, armed drones and satellites, and aerospace fighters that are very prone to shoot down unauthorized vehicles and ships entering their space) that is operated by the collaborative resources of the Pluoton Koichizoku instead of small individual militias. It operates out of Sokutsu Fort, the original base of the Devil Dogs PMC (who still maintain facilities here). The NPO Celestial Patrol also maintains several towers and other facilities here on the moon. The Treasure Box maintains museum quality archives, histories, artifacts, and other educational materials from the geological and cultural past of Pluoton from its founding to its future.

Technora, headquartered on Pluoton, is a publicly traded multi-division corporation (1,653 Ryu per share) (its majority of shares held by the Pluoton Koichizoku - Yukari Corvae holds the Chairmans seat on the Board and Eryk Kase is the CEO) that includes mining, security, heavy industrial fabrication, manufacture of dropships (one to three civilian class to custom spec every five to seven years),manufacture of small craft and aerospace combat vehicles, refining and processing minerals, metals, and chemicals, the maintenance, storage, refit, resupply, and repair of small craft and dropships, manufacture of sealed combat and civilian vehicles, offers technical and engineering support services, operates stellar dockyards and marinas, operates stellar cargo and passenger services, operates stellar sightseeing and cruising tours, manufacture of heavy space capable mining equipment, manufacture of industrial and mining mechs, manufacture of  remote operated vehicles, manufacture of EXO and EVA suits, manufacture of space and other hazardous environment suits. Most well known of the divisions is the Debris Section - that prevents damage and destruction of satellites, stations, orbital paths, and spacecraft from debris using a number of methods including collection and pushing it through the gas giant atmospheres, and also recycling salvage accomplished through the use of personnel in EVA suits and modified space capable mining and industrial mechs deployed from small craft and Leopard class dropships, also collection by small remote operated vehicles, and small preprogrammed vehicles similar to Roomba that follow orbital paths and space lanes. Also well known is the Traders Section which handles much of the exportation of the raw and processed Pluoton Mines production.

They offer wireless smartphone services on terrestrial bodies, satellites, stations, and habitats. They manufacture the Jiyuna {free, unfettered} line of foldable smartphones, smartwatches, and tablets (sizes from five to nine hundred centimeters available). They have their own chip foundry, and manufacture a wide array of communication technology from microphones, to fiber optic cable to satellites. They have the most cutting edge research and development division in the system and are a leading developer of low orbit man-portable satellites. A publicly traded company recently valued at 1,779 Ryu per share. Their logo is a murmuration that resembles a bird in flight.   

Anvil - occupies their own dome on Pluoton with labs, farms, factories, and residences. They make handcrafted tools, transparent metals, metal alloys, ceramic compounds, industrial and commercial textiles. They own major stakes in several stellar mines and quarries. (publicly traded at 68.3 Ryu per share)   

Stratos - stellar charter offering scheduled and private passenger and cargo services to all ports in system (public company currently valued at 35.61 Ryu per share)
