Hunt of the Black Marauder - BungleTech Game Mode

Howdy howdy howdy!

Do you wish that you could experience the horror of fighting the Black Marauder?

Well.... NOW YOU CAN!!!!! (for better or worse)

Long story short I was inspired recently and decided I wanted to create an H.P Lovecraft inspired game mode, and that is frankly what the Black Marauder is all about. So I read all the lore on it, super fun stories, and designed a game mode that is consistent and builds upon that lore.

The game mode is unique, as it leverages an initiative deck for the Black Marauder that gives him unique effects each turn which exasperate his already extreme abilities. If you have ever played the board game Eldritch Horror, this sort of plays out like that games Mythos deck. I have designed a template utilizing the BattleTech Initiative Deck as the base for a physical Black Marauder Initiative Deck, and will fill this out with all the card details and make it available for print once I get out of ALPHA.

Howdy all!

Just a quick update. The game mode has now exited Alpha, and is on version 1.2.

Play testing has been completed across a handful of scenarios, and outcomes showcase victory is feasible but the game can be both terrifying and challenging. The random card draw of the Black Marauder makes him an unpredictable opponent as intended.

As it has exited Alpha, I have now designed the Hunt of the Black Marauder initiative deck which is shared under the Game Resources found the game mode linked above.
