Userbar creation?

Thinking about making my own userbar, but I can't figure out what font and size is used on most of them, such as the one I currently have in my signature.

Anyone know?

Thanks!  That works beautifully.

Now the only thing I can't figure out how to do is get that glossy button look.  Any suggestions?  I know my way around Photoshop for the most part, but I guess I'm not that awesome yet.

it's just a semi-transparent oval of white on the top-most layer ;)

Like the man said, you create a white oval and then do a transparent fill on it so that it gets progressively clear as you go up from the bottom.  then you mask the underlying rectangle, invert, and "cut" the extraneous oval stuff out.
