Private equity firm Proa Capital has agreed to purchase a majority stake of approximately 70% in Acrylicos Vallejo for €50 million, according to Expansión.

Not necessarily. Sometimes they buy out companies to improve profitability, then sell it on at a profit. Which ends up sucking for someone, such as the employees, the customers, or both. I know because I was there (they took a good company to work for, with nice perks & benefits, & sucked that all away).
