Okay, so I've been thinking about getting more into using infantry. But there's thing called encumbrance rules that I never heard of before. My impression of encumbrance rules is that if any of the troopers in a PBI unit used encumbering equipment, their MP would be reduced by 1 (or whatever).
Like for example, Clan hover infantry uses Mauser IICs, which are encumbering. But sarna has them listed as moving 5MP, which is the standard speed for hover infantry. There is no reduction for encumbrance? Or what about if I replaced 4 of the troopers using Mauser IICs and replaced them with Infantry Support TAG (which is also encumbering). Is the MP for the unit reduced or not?
How does this rule work? What rulebook can I find encumbrance rules in?
