Title: BattleTech Classic Downloadable Plain Grass Hexmaps (Various Sizes) (UPDATED)

I've been experimenting a little with creating my own printable hex maps.

I have various sizes available in these six styles (black, white, brightwhite; grid, hex):

Feel free to have these printed for your own personal use.

Most typically you would have these printed either on mousepad material (my favorite) or vynil banner (more affordable) material.

Expect the printed result to lose a little detail and the colors to be a tad duller. But in the end this depends entirely on your particular print shop.

You can have these printed through DeepCutStudios Print-o-Mat for example (I'm not getting any kickbacks :( )

Many professional print shops accept low volume consumer orders these days as well.

The filenames are intentionally very descriptive.

Wherever you decide to have them printed, keep the following in mind:
 - Carefully verify if the file you've downloaded meets your purposes.
 - The "thumb" files are tiny which gives a rough impression of the hexmap.
 - The "100dpi" files are smallish which gives you a rough 1:1 scale view (without any zooming) on most computer displays.
 - The "200dpi" files are rather big, and are meant for actual print.
 - The "fogra39" (280% ink limit) files are in CMYK color mostly for European print shops. Specifically ask your print shop if these would be suitable for them. Don't assume they are.
 - Be mindful of your printers bleed requirements. Make sure you comply with your print shop requirements.
 - Ask your print shop for a soft proof.
 - In case of vynil banner material, ask for a matte finish, and make sure they don't fit any grommets.

I've just added a limited set of 2" peek-to-peek (roughly 1.75" flat-to-flat) hexmaps. Given that I don't own any HeroScape I can't say if it's compatible or not.

If anybody who owns HeroScape hexes, could attach 41 single hexes in a perfectly straight line (connected flat-to-flat, placed against a wall or something to keep it straight), and measure the entire length (excluding the connector protrusions), and report back, that would be awesome.
