Officer on the deck!
« on: 27 January 2011, 17:32:04 »
Congratulations to Moonsword, the first officer of the new boards, with just over 400 posts at the time of this topic.  O0
Catalyst Demo Agent #679

Kansas City players, or people who are just passing through the area, come join us at the Geekery just off Shawnee Mission Parkway for BattleTech!  Current days are Tuesdays in the afternoon and evening.  I can't make every single week, but odds are pretty good that somebody will be there.

Yes! :D

We finally have a figure of authority (lol) on the board we can afford to ignore without getting nuked and/or disciplined.

Moonsword ya bastid! Chill with the posting, Wombat is the leader here! Don't you remember the last guy who earned his ire?
I don't post to play nice with everyone. I post to posit my ideas. If this offends you, there's an ignore function.

An officer eh?

Fah!

A Commission is not something that a Gentleman should have! ;)
We hear that there are tumults and riots in Rome, and that voices are raised concerning the army and the quality of our soldiers. Make haste to reassure us that you love and support us as we love and support you, for if we find that we have left our bones to bleach in these sands in vain, then beware the fury of the legions.

That, by the way, was called sarcasm...and to be bluntly honest, I could easily have over 1200 posts by now; but I've got this strange notion of enjoying myself. Thats what we're here for - right?

Badgers? We don't need no stinkin' badgers! Now Wombat, on the other hand, would be just the ticket right about now...and guns lots and lots of guns...and nukes, lots of them, too.

A commissioning does not a gentleman make.  Beside gentleness does not inspire the enlistees, fear and leadership through example do though.

Being gentle is not necessarily a quality for being a gentleman. ;)
