One of Felicity's verbal Faux Pas though could have ruined it for the Arrow though by her dropping Ollie's name, and if any of the 3 that were there I think Dr West probably keyed in on that.

This ep was kinda dull, I thought. It is nice to finally get his official moniker. Best part of the episode: Barry's facial expression and little "what?" to Joe when Eddie wanted to hit things to work out his frustration

Really starting to like Eddie. Don't know if the writers are tricking me into liking him or not though, I figure he'll turn evil eventually.

But Detective West is starting to steal the show for me, just like Harvey is doing for Gotham. The last part of the ep made me seriously tense.

I am starting to dislike the Smallville-esque supervillains a week. Especially if they have such weak solutions.

Joe and Dr. Wells (Dr. Wheels for me still) had a fun series of scenes there. Considering how smart they're making West out to be it won't be long before he figures out who may have been responsible.

Nice episode. I liked that Catlin (danielle Panabaker) ragged on barry for his late night meetings with Iris. The enemy being his school bully was a nice touch..
Though i wonder. Who's gonna pay for all those windows shattered by his Sonic boom? Will they ever think to explain if/how many people might have been injured from him HITTING Mach 1?

Iris and Barry are still in the cards IMO. Iris is all warm and fuzzy for the Flash persona. This will turn Eddie into an enemy of the Flash as Iris' obsession continues fester and grow. Eventually Iris will discover that Barry is the Flash and they will either fall in luvsy-wuvsy or she'll turn on him like spoiled milk.

Only if she does live because of Prof Zoom still out there and has threatened her dad. However if she does live and turns on him what happens? Or if they do get all luvsy wuvsy and Eddie turns what does he turn into? I am thinking too that Caitlin might be opening up to Barry too she already rips on him in a oh my god I think I want you sort of way

The episode was awesome last night and the Doctor pretty much was showing is true colors in my opinion.

I loved Wells' line to Cisco. "They have names, Cisco," after he calls the new villain Blackout.

Also, the Clock King makes an appearance and suddenly bullet-proof vests shot at close range will only leave you breathless for a second or two.

As cool as these last few eps have been, I'm not a fan of all these metas showing up week after week. I did enjoy Wells' future google thing there.

For what ever reason, while trying to watch it last night on the cw site it kept crapping out on me. After my 4th straight restart of the site, i gave up!

Finally finished the ep.. Man does it open up a lot of new questions.

Is the computer sentient? Is it FROM the future, or does it have some sort of precognitive abilities?
Is our good doc, wanting to know how blackout took barry's power for some nefarious reasons or to combat Zoom who has similar powers?

I was surprised by the fact the show isn't dark, brooding, etc. Even got me to start watching Arrow.

Then came Captain Cold. Really smart. Check. Code vs. Killing (in his opening scene). Check. Not metahuman. Check.
Then as soon as he gets the Cold Gun (lethal only) he goes on a killing spree. The writers basically said "we can't write interesting villains, so we'll just write violence."

I want to like the show, but turning the leader of the Rouges into a psycho killer is atrocious.

Interesting note: Captain Cold (tech-based, does not kill), Mr. Freeze (tech-based, kills only as a last resort), Icicle Jr. (meta, stone killer), Killer Frost (meta, name says it all). Only exception to the meta/tech-killer/not seems to be Ice of the Team Formerly Known as the Justice League.

Ahhhhh, so many easter eggs!

Let's see who all was name-checked in the latest episode:
Ralph Dibny - a.k.a. Elongated Man (I seem to recall an early mention of him as well)
Al Rothstein - a.k.a. Nuklon / Atom-Smasher
Will Everett - a.k.a. Amazing Man
Bea DaCosta - a.k.a. Fire
Grant Emerson - a.k.a. Damage

And, of course, Ronnie Raymond (a.k.a. Firestorm), whom we've already seen and know wil be making a future appearance.

Now, granted, all those people were mentioned as having died the night of the accelerator accident, but that doesn't necessarily mean they can't make an appearance. In fact, I really, really hope at least some of them do. It would be a huge shame to just write off those characters so they could drop some easter eggs on the viewers.

Ooh, let's hope this ends up working out: Wait, Supergirl Might Exist In The Same World As Arrow And The Flash?

Add in the Teen Titans show being developed at TNT (which co-owns The CW) and we could end up with not only all these comic shows, but a shared universe that crosses network boundaries. The mind boggles.

Despite the Wonder Woman fiasco and Hollywood's general failure with female super heroine leads, I still hope that Supergirl can be successful and that it gets connected with Arrow and Flash.

I think it has been proven that you have to have just the right team all across the board to pull off live action comic book series. Heck even cartoons need a good team to pull off comic book heroes well.

I will have to watch again, but I think Wells was also inferring that he was listing people affected- perhaps not all of them were dead.
