I'm confused by a few things in the rank table on p 124 as found in the printed copy of ATOW.
1.) My first question is in regard to the minimum rank that a character who is both an officer and a mechwarrior needs to hold:
- the "rank" column reads "E5/O2", and the
- "enlisted (non-clan)" column would seem to corroborate this, however the
- second row of the "officer (non-clan)" column reads "cadet", whereas
- "mechwarrior" appears on the third row, while
- the "rank" column has no corresponding officer rank listed for either of these rows
How am I supposed to interpret/utilize this table?
2.) My second question is still in regard to the rank table on p 124: how do I correctly account for ranks such as "captain" (e.g., a dropship captain) as described on p 358 utilizing this table?
