What happened to planet Twilight
« on: 22 May 2018, 11:06:12 »
This planet was occupied on 3049 by Clan Jade Falcon. Or at least visited by them
After that action, nothing else is known of it. Was it abandoned because it was not worth garrisoning? Was it abandoned when the Inner Sphere clans cleaned the exodus road??

As far as I can dig up it simply hasn't been re-addressed in any publication since the Jade Falcon handbook, so it's fate is undecided.

Since it's a Periphery world, its absence from maps isn't meaningful - it might be depopulated, or it's not important enough to be noteworthy, or the world might be regarded as an error in Jade Falcon.

Yeah, when the Falcons hit, it appeared as if it only had a Buddhist monastery on it. That's well below the threshold of not listing a world on the map due to low population.
It'd also mean the Falcons would have to invest to colonize the place to make it worthwhile. With a sudden abundance of worlds that are both relatively nice for people to live on, and that also have some significant infrastructure and population, it's not weird that they simply didn't bother doing anything with Twilight. There's nothing there. Better invest in improving, say, Sudeten.

The solution is just ignore Paul.
