Bomb Special Ability

AS companion says the Bomb special ability for aerospace fighters and conventional fighters is equal to their size, which range form 1 to 3. Have I read that correctly?

by the way for pure fun I converted the standard battletech rules into Alpha Strike and the Bomb special ability becomes very evil.
