Gameplay wise in total warfare, does the Vibro Heavy Battleclaw do anything?
Thinking of the Kishi BattleArmor in 3145. Asides from RP aspects, is there a game rule for Heavy Battle Claw (Vibro)? Does it do damage in base to base contact or something?
Just curious!

I think it boosts your damage against conventional infantry if they're in the same hex.

I think it's a separate attack, but could be wrong. I do know it boosts damage to leg and swarm attacks.
-
Are these rules in Total Warfare or Tactical Operations?
-
Total Warfare, under the Infantry and Battle Armor section.
-
Additional attack/damage to infantry in the same hex. Additional damage on swarm attacks and leg attacks. +1 damage if it has one vibro claw. +2 damage if there is a pair.
-
Vibro claws add damage against infantry in the same hex and during swarm attacks. So far as I know, there is no advantage to a Heavy Vibro claw under TW. That only comes in under AToW rules.
Same for Battle Claw vs Heavy Battle Claw.

It allows you to give a message to the person inside a Golem BattleArmor without them having to take off the armor.

I believe you mean "massage."

That too.

When using the abstract Infantry vs Infantry rules in TacOps to resolve combat within a building or in a boarding action, vibro claws add to your Marine Points at the same level as burst-fire weapons. No extra bonus for heavy claws.

Oh, the things I want to say but alas this is a family friendly forum. :-)

Now I want to go through all the fluff and see if Hitachi manufactures them. 8) Yeah ok, I'll shut up.

I thought it sliced, it diced, it julienned?
