FedCom Civil War Pick-up Game
« on: 13 February 2018, 22:02:58 »
My buddies and I were able to get a quick pick-up game in on Sunday. Just a quick 6 Mechs (1 Lance with 2 anti-infantry Mechs attached) from the 1st FedCom RCT vs. 4 Mechs, about 3 lances of combat and support vehicles, infantry and support personnel of the Nanking Sarna March Militia. The scenario was a RCT raid on a SMM supply depot/field repair base located in the equatorial jungle of Nanking. We had two spectacular kills First a SMM Enforcer lured a RCT NightSky in range of a SMM Demolisher which promptly landed two center torso hits with its AC 20's coring the Mech. The second was an ammo hit on a SMM Cataphract (that earlier had surprised and destroyed a RCT Sentry with rear shots from a jungle hiding spot) by a RCT Devastator.

Nice pics!  Looks like it was a fun game.  8)   What was the final outcome?

By the time we had to wrap it up each side was down 2 Mechs and the SMM armor and infantry had taken a severe beating. Barring any odd twists of fate the 1st FedCom would have taken out most of the resistance in 1-2 more turns and would have had free range to destroy or snatch supplies after that.
